I feared their QB was just too good......and said so earlier this week here. I even handicapped Clemson as a 3 point favorite. They win 35...........31. Missed it by one point..........hmm.......

Anyway, I was pretty sure their QB would be twice as hard to hold down as he was last year........and Clemson was far more hungry for the win than we were.

Still............great game for Clemson........and a heart break for us here in BAMA.

Congradulations Clemson.........and I sure hope your QB decides to go Pro............ :)

If he comes back next Season, they could well be right back in the Championship Game for the third straight year. I HOPE we are............but, I HOPE they stumble.......IF DeShaun comes back......

with no kiffy handicap bama is sure to be back.
bama had no all star HB, freshman QB and were still the best team all year. i think this was a down year all around, no teams that really stood out. big time down year in the SEC.

yeah, it stinks to lose one that way. many of us uga fans cringe and shake our heads at watching Deshaun Watson , as he went to high school 35 miles away from uga and the former coaching staff barley recruited him at all. but, congrats to Clemson.

Without cable TV, you aren't allowed to watch the college football playoffs anymore. My season ended when (my beloved) Iowa Hawkeyes got clobbered the day after New Year's.

I only rooted for Bama to win in those last two games this year.
Won one and lost one.
Great game.
