I watch War Room last night...meh...it was okay I guess. It comes access like a chic flick. If you want a good Christian based movie on the subject of marriage, I recommend Fire Proof.

I also preferred Fire Proof to War Room. War Room had a really good message but I feel they were trying to stretch a sub-plot type storyline into a main-plot storyline.

I very much enjoyed War Room but yeah I think it is aimed at the female market. I've not seen Fire Proof - is it a new movie?

Fireproof is made before War Room (by the same company). I thought it was an extremely powerful movie, though fairly intense in parts.

War Room plot summary.... husbands being a jerk, wife prays, husband stops being a jerk.... that's the whole movie.
That actress writes Christian literature and I've seen her speaking a couple times on youtube

Fire Proof came out a few years ago. Kirk Cameron plays the main character... awesome movie on the subject of husband and wife in the way they should treat each other

I had a couple of movies for Christmas - Miracles From Heaven and Hiding Place. The former was predictable and I've yet to watch Hiding Place.

Of course, to some people, "depth" is just unfathomable, and they really don't get much out of a movie except the plot it is woven around. LOL

A Christian movie I saw recently that I really enjoyed was called, Do You Believe?

Lee Majors, Cybill Shepherd, Mira Sorvino, and Sean Astin were in it :)

I thought this was going to be a thread about BDF when I saw the title. Lol

Ive not see the war room, but another good film a few years old now - the war horse.

I've seen War Room and all the movies made by the same people - Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. I think they're all wonderful quality Christian movies.
