If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make that change.

:)
Shades of Michael Jackson... Man In The Mirror... such a great song :)

I’m gonna make a change, for once in my life
It’s gonna feel real good, gonna make a difference
Gonna make it right...

As I turn up the collar on my favorite winter coat
This wind is blowin’ my mind
I see the kids in the street, with not enough to eat
Who am I, to be blind? Pretending not to see their needs
A summer’s disregard, a broken bottle top
And a one man’s soul
They follow each other on the wind ya’ know
’Cause they got nowhere to go
That’s why I want you to know

I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
(If you wanna make the world a better place)
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change
(Take a look at yourself, and then make a change)
(Na na na, na na na, na na, na nah)

I’ve been a victim of a selfish kind of love
It’s time that I realize
That there are some with no home, not a nickel
to loan
Could it be really me, pretending that they’re
not alone?

A willow deeply scarred, somebody’s broken heart
And a washed-out dream
(Washed-out dream)
They follow the pattern on the wind, ya’ see
’Cause they got no place to be
That’s why I’m starting with me
(Starting with me!)

I’m starting with the man in the mirror
(Ooh!)
I’m asking him to change his ways
(Ooh!)
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
(If you wanna make the world a better place)
Take a look at yourself and then make a change
(Take a look at yourself and then make a change)

I’m starting with the man in the mirror
(Ooh!)
I’m asking him to change his ways
(Change his ways - ooh!)
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
(If you wanna make the world a better place)
Take a look at yourself and then make that...
(Take a look at yourself and then make that...)
Change!

I’m starting with the man in the mirror
(Man in the mirror - Oh yeah!)
I’m asking him to change his ways
(Better change!)
No message could have been any clearer
(If you wanna make the world a better place)
(Take a look at yourself and then make the change)
(You gotta get it right, while you got the time)
(’Cause when you close your heart)
You can’t close your...your mind!
(Then you close your...mind!)
That man, that man, that man, that man
With that man in the mirror
(Man in the mirror, oh yeah!)
That man, that man, that man
I’m asking him to change his ways
(Better change!)
You know...that man
No message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
(If you wanna make the world a better place)
Take a look at yourself and then make a change
(Take a look at yourself and then make a change)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Na na na, na na na, na na, na nah
(Oh yeah!)
Gonna feel real good now!
Yeah yeah! Yeah yeah! Yeah yeah!
Na na na, na na na, na na, na nah
(Ooooh...)
Oh no, no no...
I’m gonna make a change
It’s gonna feel real good! Come on!
(Change...)
Just lift yourself
You know
You’ve gotta stop it. Yourself!
(Yeah! - Make that change!)
I’ve got to make that change, today!
Hoo!
(Man in the mirror)
You got to
You got to not let yourself... brother...
Hoo!
(Yeah! - Make that change)
You know - I’ve got to get that man, that man...
(Man in the mirror)
You’ve got to
You’ve got to move! Come on! Come on!
You got to...
Stand up! Stand up! Stand up!
(Yeah! - Make that change)
Stand up and lift yourself, now!
(Man in the mirror)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Aaow!
(Yeah! - Make that change)
Gonna make that change...come on!
You know it!
You know it!
You know it!
You know...
(Change...)
Make that change.

Sounds like Michael Jackson...........oh wait..it is.......!
Haha, you got to it so much faster than I did... I went to find the video, and then the lyrics, and a picture of Michael, and searched out his life span, and then after I posted it, I watched the video and it made me cry, it is quite a touching tribute to the never ending struggle of humanity to find justice and equality for all... and the truth that change is an inside job :) Looking at pictures of Michael is enough to make one sad. He was so talented, but he needed Jesus as much as anyone.

I have been to other forums and am well aware of the similarity of heated debates and unrequired blows at each other but only those who are content with the way things are accept the way they are and I cannot do that because the church is in a state where we have forgotten our first love we have forgotten what it means to be Christian we have forgotten what love is and what standing for the truth is.

Instead we are christians by title only we speak of God and teach of him yet barely know him we claim to be love we teach love yet the fruits of love is but a shriveled pear in most hearts and confuse debating and proving ourselves right and attacking others with standing for the truth. This is not what I was taught a Christian is this not what I was taught love is and it's not what I was taught standing for the truth is I refuse to be the average Christian so I cannot accept this is just the way it is.

We may be in the world but we are not of the world so accepting this is just how public forums are cannot reside in our hearts, change is possible even if it seems impossible do you think that Rosa parks just accepted the way things were? do you think Martin Luther King just accepted the way things were? It only takes one heart to make a change it only takes a spark to make the fire burn
Being vulnerable makes a difference. If people can share there hearts and be ready to be wrong and
forgiving of themselves and others things can grow.

So often it is our defences in life that block the Lord's blessing.
In Christ there is no safe place except in the cross yet this is also suffering.

Until we can walk in the light and know the ways of the light it is hard.

Bdf is not hard, it is seeing your greatest insights crushed that is tough.
But are you seeking Gods or man's approval.

My friends, Christ's victory works, so learn to seek His face and walk in His love,

This from the guy who craps on those who share their hearts and cruelly tries to use it against them. What a blind hypocritical piece of work you are.

How do we get Mods attention?
I have contacted them 3 times in the last 2 days and they are ignoring me.

just from observation, it seems to me that the quickest way to get their attention is to spam the forum with dozens of threads offering astrology readings, advertising a 900 number to call for psychic hotline.

whenever that happens they apparently respond within a half a day or less -- probably because their emails get flooded with people reporting the posts. so i guess if you made a lot of any kind of really offensive and/or highly inappropriate threads and posts in a short time, lots of people would "help" you get hold of the mods.

((not a recommended strategy tho))

;)
