Believers of Christ sometimes disagree, though all true Christians do believe we are sinners and the only way to heaven is God. There are some things that are tricky to understand, so in some places followers disagree. Like homosexuality, I and others I know believe it is not sinful and that the Bible only condemns it in the old testament. Someday when we die we'll truly know if it's a sin or not. Either way if we trust in God and remember we're sinners he'll accept us. If I die and God says the homosexuality is a sin I trusted him and he surely won't send me to hell, If it turns out that homosexuality is a sin I will plead guilty, I will repent. Jesus blood can cleanse me since I trusted him and I tried my best to follow his word, though I'm just a human. If it's not a sin I'll still be repenting for all the other sins I've committed. While I'm on this earth I want to make peace and avoid fights. If fellow followers disagree and say homosexuality is wrong I won't try to change them, I'll let God convict others as he pleases even if he doesn't convict them to believe homosexuality is okay. I believe he convicted me that homosexuality is no sin but perhaps I misunderstood, after all I'm human. For now I believe what I think is the most truthful, when I die I'll know not what I find truthful but what is truthful. Be the truth that homosexuality is wrong or that it's okay. We're just dumb stupid evil humans but I like to think by being positive I can help spread a little light in a darkened world.

Translate any way you wish...........the fact is God's condemnation of homosexuality and other sins against Him transcended the First Covenant/Testament to the New Covenant/Testament.........

Your assertion is false..........that is what really matters......

Romans

1 .) Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
2 .) (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3 .) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 .) And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 .) By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 .) Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 .) To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8 .) First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9 .) For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
10 .) Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11 .) For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12 .) That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13 .) Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14 .) I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15 .) So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 .) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 .) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 .) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 .) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 .) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 .) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 .) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 .) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 .) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 .) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 .) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 .) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 .) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 .) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 .) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 .) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 .) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

I really don't care to argue, as you are another dumb human just like myself. You're tone is not that of concern but of disgust and annoyance.

Please stop, I refuse to debate with someone so easily agitated. I believe what I believe and I'm not shoving it into your face, It would be kind of you to not shove your version of belief in mine either.

Too, too funny............I am neither agitated or arguing......... Nor have my words/posts revealed that I am...... too, too funny... :) I guess simply posting Scripture is "shoving it in one's face?"

Believe as you wish.......makes no matter to me.......but when you try and say it is God's Truth, then it matters.

I said from what I can reason it is truth. I said I can't be sure. However I feel that it is truth, I do admit there is a chance I am wrong. I believe you skimed my first post as you seem to be twisting my words.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, there is a list of sins that can not inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexuality is one of those listed. Paul then says and such were(past tense) some of you.

In 1 John 3:7-10, John wrote no one who is born of God will continue sinning. Yes we still sin, as 1 John 1:8,9 says, but we will not continue winning.

According to others, this will make her sixth or seventh ban coming up. God ordained marriage to be between one man and one woman. Look at the man's and woman's anatomy and it's real easy to see God made woman for the man. He made Eve, not Steve...

Are you a homosexual? This would really help in the conversation.

Oh and when you die it is too late for forgiveness. There is no repenting when you meet Jesus face to face.

What amuses me is that people come here posting stuff that all of us know isn't Truth, and when we call them on it, they say we are twisting their words or some such............too, too funny........ The only think I was trying to show this one is that the statement she/he/whoever made was not true.

QUOTE

I and others I know believe it is not sinful and that the Bible only condemns it in the old testament.

END QUOTE

We have another one here on the BDF who has posted some foolish stuff about striving to live Christ-like will condemn us.....Honestly, what Christian would actually believe that striving to live Christ-like is worthy of condemnation?

Anyway...................

Psalms 15:7)
[FONT=&quot] The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

"The bible doesnt say its a sin"

*shows verses that teach its a sin*

"I wont argue with someone so easily agitated"

Haha : p
