(in my best Dennis Hopper impersonation...)

I should be angry that you didn't make me angry right? Well I'm not, man.. so there.

Now... Jesus certainly didn't belong to any denomination since he was the original, man... The first, the one and only, numero uno, the big cheese, the top dog, the big kahuna... then the christian man started coming up with different interpretations of the Gospel and that's how denominations got started... And that brings us back to Adam and Eve and the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge... because if Eve didn't eat the fruit we'd all have perfect clarity of the mind... you know what I'm sayin? There'd be no room for denominations man.. We'd all be one giant happy family... "

If at best wholesale teachings of ignorance is not enought to move a person, I must raise the eyebrow.

It seems apostasy is become the norm, while anything else goes.

You do not need be angry, none of you majority of folks, but at least muster up some righteous indignation., or is your peace so great you do not care about the understanding of the Body members of Yeshua?
I'm merely confused about what this post is supposed to be doing.

I have been reading the Word for almost half a century, and guess what!? I HAVE FOUND NO COMMANDMENT SAYING you should understand me, but do work to understand the Word, even when understanding could be coming from a brother in Christ............

THIS THREAD IS MAKING ME VERY ANGRY!!! GRRRRRRR. . . . . .hows that JJ?

i agree with what u say. true Judaism is not what the pharisees were teaching (in the days of Jesus) and true Christianity is not whats being taught by most churches.
It's amusing that when "apostasy" is discussed, and the conclusion is drawn that "most" churches are teaching apostasy, it's never that person's church.... it's always "all the other" churches...

As many times as this is mentioned, I'm beginning to wonder where all these churches are that are teaching apostasy.... if MOST other churches are teaching it...

Jesus Christ was of no denomination. As in the OP, He was not a Christian, and Judaism as it exists since His ascent to the Father did not exist, so though He was a Jew by descent of the Tribe of Judah, He could never have been a Jew by denomination.

He was of the faithof Abraham, and He taught the same, not a relgion, a way of living n faith in God.

I believe there are children of God in all walks of life and ain most denominations. There is the Great Whore and her daughters.. When the Father calls His children out of her it stands to reason and commons sense He will be calling them out of her daughters also.

Apostasy does abound. Jesus said it would before He returned, and it does...........
