I wrote this when the election was just starting, both primary parties had about 20 or so candidates each, i wrote this because i thought that it was a crazy way to fix our social issues. the reason why i am putting this on here now is well a voice inside me says this is something that i should show people (dont know if its God or my personal ego.) but these are things that need to be discussed, Although God tells us that he will provide, we still have to figure out how to deal with each other according to the rules that he set forth in the Bible....how would you try and make this place, this country, this world a better place.......I ask if you respond to this post that you be constructive, i ask that if you see a post that you DON'T like DO NOT respond to it, just try to stay open minded and agree to disagree(the reason i ask this is because i want to see what people think the true issues of our country are, and i also want to see the ways that people would try and fix them, this is not an experiment, but more of a focus discussion that helps us get to know one another and gives us an ideal of how we and others see the world and its issues....) so like i said please DON'T reply to any post on this discussion that you disagree with, instead offer your own solution.....hope my rules make since....God Bless us and allow us to be open minded and constructive.

There is a saying “Rome wasn't Built in a day” but me being the mad man that I am would add no but the groundwork was laid so that it could be built in a shorter amount of time.
Here is My Agenda for when I Become President;
1st I would rework ACA
the way that it read will give people a reason to argue and bicker, because they feel that it is an intrusion on their rights (lets go with that)
so here is what I would do in my depleted mind state;
a standard of simple and basic rules for coverage.
these philosophy and rules are as follows
1)All human life is worth more, so treat it that way
a) no max policy limits
b)no denying of benefits
c)coverage for experimental treatment that are available
1. only a ½ paid up front, if the treatment is unsuccessful then no balance is due, however if the experimental treatment works after a year then the remainder will be paid. (Not payable if the patient dies for any reason before year)(so they better be damn sure the patient is going to live a productive and normal life with the surgery.)
2)The Bottom line on wall street is not always the best to follow!
a) insurance companies will no longer be allowed to be publicly traded because it is against the best interest of the people that they insure
b)insurance companies are not allowed to have a vested interest in the pharmaceutic industry in any way because it is against public interest.(so this means that there will be no more drug coverage policies (this aspect should be set up by the pharmaceutical industry and the prices of the medication will be set by a panel that the pharmaceutical industry has setup)(if prices get to high on medication then the surgeon general's office has the right to request an inquiry and a list of all factors that are involved with making medication.)
(I know there is something missing but I am sure those two changes should fix the issue, but for everything there is a loop hole or in future generations there is something not thought of yet.
I would also restructure the hospital system and based it off the U.K. NHS system. But I would go one step further.
Like in the NHS system I would have 2 scales of services:
one for those that have premium coverage and one that have basic coverage
hospitals in the premium area are hospitals and clinics modeled/maintained like the mayo clinic (clinics and hospitals that can accommodations those that are privileged to pay more)
patience in either system can go to the other, however if you are a basic coverage patient and go to a premium clinic you will have to pay for any treatments that are above the cost of your coverage (not to exceed 25% of the cost of going to a basic coverage clinic or hospital)
but there is a catch 22 and here is my madman twist
create a union nationalized test for doctors,
nationalize the doctors by community
the doctors of this nationalized pool are ranked from a scale highest to lowest
the doctors in the top 1/3 of the scale and the doctors in the low 1/3 of the scale will be put in random drawings to know what hospital/clinic they will got into (ether the premium or the basic.)
the doctors whom fall in the middle of the scale will have to operate between the two systems.
middle scale doctors will be work 4 days split between the two systems.
All doctors will be put on a Nationalized scale for pay that will be determined by the people in the union pay scale( all salaries are minimum of $75000 and not to exceed $150000 in a years time) (bonuses are optional but they can not exceed what the smallest or poorest state in the union can offer)
doctors can transfer from one state to the other but they will be put in that state's nationalized pool
all hospital are to be privatized with oversight from a committee elected in the town or city that the hospital/clinic is in and no state can have a vested interest.
All hospitals/clinic will receive research grants determined by the size of the community that they serve. This amount should be determined on a per person basis determined by a national committee from the whole union. (this is not to exceed what the smallest or poorest community can pay per person.)
all research is to be put in a nationalized data base that all clinics and hospitals have access to.
All patients record will be kept in a triple secured national data base. Only the patient and the doctor have access to the information. The system will be set up with in mind the patient or someone on behalf of the patient and the doctor will have to put a password in. this is the only way to access these files period. has to be triple layered secure accessible from anywhere in the union. No back doors will be installed period. the code should be triple checked by random independent individuals from different areas of the union and they only answer to the surgeon general personally. These records can be used by the courts but only with the patient and doctors approval (in cases where an injury has been caused by an illegal act the doctor is to notify local law enforcement and document the injuries on a form that will be presented to law enforcement in paper form.) These record are to be maintained by a private company with funding from the federal government with an over-site committee appointed by the surgeon general's office.
That should fix any issues with the ACA and it should provide people with a system for health care that is affordable
education
here is what I would do to our education system that if I was a running for president and you know that since I am a mad man there is going to be some loo loo's in here.
Restructure education:
MAKE EDUCATION PAST 12TH GRADE FREE FOR ALL. No longer will a school be concerned with its financial standing (financial standing is against the interest of the people that cannot afford to go to a college (grants and scholarships are not going to cut it because they only benefit a very small percentage of the students)
union nationalized pay scale (just like the doctors the teachers will be put on a pay scale that will be based on what the most productive schools get.)
(union nationalized test that will be administered before any student is given a high school diploma or ged)
Union nationalized progress test this means that everyone from every small town to every large city should know the same.
state regional nationalized teachers for k-12 (no more will there be a town or a city with uncaring teachers or incompetent teachers.)
union nationalized teachers plans for k-12 (all students will learn the same thing from k-12 except if the student chooses to go to a specialty school in grade 9 and this school will be
standardized with all schools in the union that are just like it.(so if a school is teaching electronics in Albion Michigan it will be teaching the same thing that is taught in silicon valley) this lesson plan will be done in weeks on a five day basis so that if a child goes from one school to the other in any part of the union they will know what is going on.)
union nationalized General education diploma test. (this test should be based upon general knowledge of math and science known from the 8th grade)
funding will be provided from the federal government and this will go to a state fund and the state will distribute to each town or city on a student basis (+5% for growth). This state fund will be the same amount per student based upon the richest cities in the union. (that means that the amount that Beverly hills, California gets is the same amount that Lima Ohio gets per student.) in the event any portion of the 5% is not used on a student then that amount will be deducted from the next distribution. In the event that a city or town grows then a general fund should be made to allow. This should be done on the state level
no longer will a city/state be able to tax its citizens for education because the more financially stable the citizens are the more the city will make and vise verse)
all taxes for education will be handled on a federal level (the amount of the tax will be based on the findings of a panel of 12 that will take a look at the best school districts and how much they put into each student. +50%)
no state should have a vested interest in a college the schools are to be privatized and nationalized so that if a student is learning about physics in Massachusetts then the same thing should be taught in Mississippi
no longer will schools get paid to do research all research will be delegated to private companies that will be funded by the government to conduct. These private companies will take on students like interns that will conduct or assist.
military this one I think your going to love because some of the stuff that I suggest is just plain crazy.
Any one 16-19 will have to do at least 2 years in the reserve military (this includes the sick lame and crazy but does not include the deaf and the blind) (only thing that can prevent you from serving those 2 years is if your are physically unable to) (missing an arm, missing a leg can not or you have a limitation and you can not march.) (16-19 year old
will only be used in support roles in these 2 years (no giving them a gun unless you have to.)) (salary will be paid by the education department training will be provide by military instructors of the branch that the student has chosen.) this will be made a requirement to receive your diploma or your GED
all weapons that can cause damage to an area greater than the length and width of the largest known standing structure plus 200 feet will be modified or phased out (that's right no more nukes or block buster bombs)
all weapons that are constructed of biological material will be phased out and it will be made illegal to conduct research with it.
Military would get 25% increase to see that the weapons are dismantled
Taxes
7% imported items.
7% on the total amount of a person's income for a year
7% on businesses income for a year
7% tax on anything that contains nicotine
(yes I got that from somewhere)
Foreign policy
world wide ban on nuclear and chemical weapons
meet with middle east leader to have them form some sort of middle eastern UN
pull all troops from the middle east area immediately (why because the people there act like they dont want our help nor do they need our help please see the next line)
we are not the world police force! And in cases that we are to be involved in any conflict then a bill will be assessed.(so in the case of the middle east we will train their soldiers but those soldiers will have to come to a us military installation to get the training no more will we be teaching in the middle of a hot zone)(so they better decide who it is that they want to train and then they send them here no more us casualties.)
more funding will be made to protect our southern border
environment
all combustion engine will be phased out by 2025 anything and everything that runs on coal oil or gas will be phased out.
Invest in hydrogen generation I am asking researchers to make a low cost hydrogen generation device before the year 2020
this hydrogen generation devices must be able to be fitted in any vehicle with a few low cost modifications
I am asking for this before 2021
the department of corrections will be handed over to the military with these guidelines;
for the really harden criminals there is to be a prison constructed from the biggest old missile silos that we have. the construction should have 10 inch thick walls on all sides of a cell and 5 inch thick walls in any area that is a walkway this facility with only one way in and one way out must be able to handle the countries most harden criminals that will not ever have a chance to be reformed or that have created crimes that they will never see the light of day. it should be equipped with a courtyard that is as deep as the prison and it must be opened to light, there should be a wall around it that surrounds the the edge of this court yard and the court yard must have grass the area around this prison is to be designed in the fashion of guantanamo bay cuba for any area that is above ground. there should also be an area where the inmates can visit with anyone from the outside that is above ground.
there are to be two facilities built one for the adults and one for minors in the event that a minor has acted in a crime that is very horrible then he will be transferred to the adult facility these two facilities can be in the same place but not the same dwelling the minor jail will be maned by the military but the rules will be governed by the department of education
as far as housing the lessor criminals then i will leave that to the military with the thought that the punishment should fit the crime.
