Our world today is simply filled with the occult. The Barna Group, a Christian group that does research of religious and cultural trends report that three out of ten teens have used the Ouija board. Almost everyone reads their horoscope instead of simply trusting the Lord for their life. Almost every video game teaches what is against the ways of the Lord. Many children become addicted so their life is set on a destructive path.

All holidays we celebrate have become contaminated by the occult, or mythology, or a dedication to commercialized sports. It is only the feasts the Lord told us to celebrate giving His plan for our salvation that remains free.

I searched for covens in my town of about 77,000. Seven were listed. I recognized some of the names from advertisements for seminars they give to "grow spiritually", such as meditation. You can be sure they don't teach Christian meditation.

I have read that Hollywood is the center for covens. The occult seems to be the theme of countless films and TV.
Here is a summary of Star Wars teaching.

They teach that the world is ruled by “The Force”, not by a personal loving God. .

They teach that there are masters and clones, against the teaching of scripture that all men are equal.

They teach there are familiar spirits. Instead of listening to the Lord, we can listen for these spirits.

We are to call on the Lord only for help, not meditation as they teach it, mind control, or calling on any spirit other than the Lord.

They teach a God who uses power to control rather than a God of Love and good.

They teach an elite bloodline, much as Hitler did in Nazi Germany.

Instead of Jesus as our teacher and master, they teach to follow a human master.

They teach, against family as a basic unit, with children being sent away from family to training.

Qui-Gon Jinn, Han Solo, Yoda, Jedi, and Djedi are all names that have religious significance in the occult world.

Okay, now that's BS. Sovereign Grace's Baptist Church is filled with gluttons and waterboarding addicts, but they are not a cult!
Baptist don't Waterboard babies
That's the Presby's job
They stick'em under water
Then look at the door knob

Baptists are gluttons
Sad but 'Tis true
But Presbys Waterboard babies
Until they turn blue

Waterboarding babies
A fallacious claim
Made by Baptist brigands
Who torture, kill and maim

Treat them not like ISIS
Say the great divines
There is no basis
In our book of verse and rhymes

We dunk them not in water
Or field confessions under blows
After singing through our Psalter
We bring the fire hose
