You know, I thoroughly enjoyed my first job as a grocery store deli clerk. Really, there are days when I think if it paid more, I would probably hang up whatever I'm doing, turn on that Hobart, slice, dice, and sell those cold cuts like they were going outta style.
People gotta eat, you can't go wrong with that 
In another reality (dimension, if you will), I am a 170 million year old male dragon with 16 wings and a scorpion tail who can shoot icy laser beams and green fire out of his mouth and eyes. I constantly fight the forces of evil with my pet mechanical unicorn who is rainbow powered.

Despite the horrendously crappy trials I’ve endured throughout my life, I love reminiscing with God in His eternal reality about all the beautiful people He put in my path over the years and all the miraculous events and joyful experiences I’ve had. And this may sound absurd, but I very often daydream with God while I'm walking outdoors, and I imagine He and I are flying together at great speeds throughout space and time, like peregrine falcons soaring in and out of time-faceted skies and swooping over past and present eras, above mountains and oceans. I visit in my heart and mind all the sweet smiling faces of my loved ones, my friends, and even lovely strangers I’ve met along the way; visualizing all the places I’ve been where my spirit discovered more of the ecstasy of freedom in Christ; remembering all the times and places where God's grace persevered in spite of my fear and weakness during threatening circumstances.
But hey ~ I’m pretty sure if my little ol’ brain can imagine such thrilling escapades in this life, God is capable of preparing something much more breathtakingly exhilarating in His amazing reality of the eternal heavenly world. That’ll be so cool.
