It does. Back in the 80's the news was propagandizing capitalism. Now they propagandize everything is dangerous.

We had a storm in Philly a couple of days ago and then the temperatures went below freezing. And then yesterday it got warm enough to thaw. I live in Philly. We have skyscrapers. This should be a given. Icicles fell off the skyscrapers onto the sidewalks, so they closed off a block, (honest, we have more than one block of skyscrapers lol) and put up a sign. "Caution: Ice falling."

To hear the news telling this story, this is the first time EVER in PHILADELPHIA icicles FELL off BUILDINGS! Surely not, since the sign cautioning it was already used. lol

Everything is a catastrophe. In which case, I'm left to wonder how I ever survived this long!

Weirder yet, how is it that life expectancy is so much longer? Shouldn't we all get trounced during holiday savings times or when ice cycles fall of skyscrapers?

Honest. The world hasn't changed. They simply go for sensationalizing the stupidity and cameras every where catch what they missed.

we have been aware of this for decades, and it is REAL, these people, and I would
venture that many 'claim to be christian', - but we have all the proof we need
when we witness such 'un-kind/un-caring/un-loving/ behavior from our own-kind?

if people will leave everything descent that they may be, or think themselves to be or
what their friends perceive them to be, for (('Plastic-Trinkets')), what should be expect
NEXT???

Now I feel like I need something to brush the bugs off my skin. Who comes up with that music for "Now?" Haven't heard that kind of music since the 1980. lol

Hasn't music changed at all in 40 years?

This scripture describes people in the end times. Sounds like the times we're in now.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIV:

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

I remember that liquor stores had to be closed on Sundays, but at least in my tri-state area all other stores were open.

I think it was about 1978 when a restaurant opened for business on a Sunday after church. We went in for a Sunday paper on occasion and a hamburger... Dad's favorite. That's nostalgia. The video shows insanity. Praying for the lost... -student

I was one year old in 1983.

We are moving from black Friday to cyber Monday...so the video doesn't hold as much truth in most cities,

I graduated in 1983. Didn't know much about black friday. Scoffed at it, I believe when I first heard of it. I didn't care to shop then. A few years later, I was there picking up some things, even then it wasn't as crazy. The moment I heard of the sales lady being killed by the mob...I swore off all of that. I gave in a couple years ago when my son was deployed and in need of power tools he couldn't get himself. I did go that year. Nothing is worth killing people over...

I just read the older "Black Friday" discussions. How black will it be when we've gone and only the non-believers remain. How dark for them...inside and perhaps, out. Hell's black Friday...demons let out and they trample the tramplers as God allows the new reign for 1000? years. I'm hoping I have all the facts wrong...it gives me chills.
