For everyone on here who's a Doctor Who fan, I just wanted to post a Doctor Who quote that, while probably not intended to do so, is totally how our relationship with God sometimes is.

In The Doctor's Wife, when the TARDIS' consciousness is trapped in a woman's body, the Doctor and the TARDIS are arguing and the Doctor says "You didn't always take me where I wanted to go."

The TARDIS replies with, "No, but I always took you where you needed to go."

That is so true when it comes to God working in our lives. He often places us or allows us to be placed in circumstances or places where we don't want to be, but He always takes us places where we need to be, either so we can grow in Him, help others, or glorify Him.
