Parents...

If God chose our names, He wouldn't have needed to tell Marry to name her son Jesus...

Luke 1:31

Wait, could it be that God already wanted to call his son Jesus, and that he was just telling her to do that because that's what he wanted all along?

Yes God wanted to name his son Jesus...
But it is interesting, he had to tell Marry to name him Jesus...

I believe in free will, 100%... I could lay out the case for free will if you think it is pertinent to the issue.

There are two trains of thoughts, 1 says God has 100% control, election...
the 2nd says Humans have 100% control, free will....

My line of reasoning for free will comes as follows...

Firstly, when man was created we were perfect, but the first thing God does is ask adam to name the animals... This creates Adam with a choice, you can chose A, B, C, D.... this creates a free will... Without a choice man is a robot, programmed with parameters that it cannot escape. Therefore sin is programmed, not of our fault. If sin is to be mans fault man must have free will...

If sin is not mans fault then God must be involved in sin... This goes against Gods nature, since God is perfect and without sin...

For instance, if I have no free will then God controls me: any time I sin it is not me sinning, it is God... A pencil does not wright, a person wrights the pencil is a tool... In the same, A person would not sin, God would sin and the person would be the tool.... This is why free will is needed....

Secondly, God always reacts to our actions... He never pre-reacts... For instance, Moses and Aaron go to Pharaoh, Pharaoh says no, and then God hardens his heart and puts a curse on them....
An other instance is God waits for us to ask for forgiveness and to come to Him, then he gives salvation and the Holly Spirit.

So to tie this to naming people.... Marry has 100% free will over her actions, therefor she can name her Son what ever she wanted, as with Joseph...
But God instructs them to name him Jesus...

But didn't God create sin? He created Lucifer and made him with the ability to rebel.

So I create a pencil, someone buys this pencil and writes on the Deceleration of Independence defacing it...
Should I go to jail or the person who wrote it?

He didn't create it... In the same way, if I created that pencil, I did not create the writing that defaced it, nor did I create the defacing....

God created Lucifer, Lucifer has free will, Lucifer creates sin...

Lucifer can't create anything he's just an angel. Only God has the power to create.

can you explain how he creates music... Or I have the power to create a pencil or house?

I am a carpenter by trade, I create stuff all day...

You are making things out of materials that already have been created by God. Yes, Lucifer can "create" music, but that's only because God created him with that ability. Lucifer didn't create music itself.

He did create it by himself... For instance, I buy lumber from a mill/lumber yard... I did not create the lumber, but when I build a fence, I created the fence, the lumber yard did not...

A painter buys paint from Hobby Lobby, but the masterpiece is not created by Hobby Lobby, it is created by the painter....

God created us and the angels and everything in the heavens and earth... But we take these materials and create new things...

Law of Conservation of Mass: Matter cannot be created or destroyed. (But it can be changed...)

In the topic of sin, we have taken perfection and hollyness: rebelled, creating sin.

Lucifer was made perfect and with knowledge, he used his knowledge given by God to create sin...
The knowledge belongs to God, sin belongs to him...

I had to edit my answer. What I was trying to say was Lucfer didn't create music itself. Yes he made songs but music is God's creation. And if God gave Lucifer the knowledge of rebellion doesn't that mean that God made rebellion? How can Lucifer know about sin if God didn't let him know about it? I agree satan is the father of lies, I guess we interpret that differently because I don't think that means he created lying but he is a manifestation of lies. Like Judas is a son of perdition but he didn't create perdition.

Your all good boss, I am going to go to bed in an hour, just to give a heads up....

Son of perdition not the father of perdition...

God is our father, because He created us...

Lucifer is the father of lies, because he created it...

God creates Lucifer, Lucifer has free will through choice (what choice is not specified, but I would suggest it is the choice of serving others or not). Lucifer rebels from Gods ways creating sin...

God gives luficer language and truth.... Lucifer decides to use language to explain what is not true... Lucifer creates lies...

Lumber yard gives me lumbar, I create a fence... or to go with the sin theme... I create a pencil, an other defaces the constitution with the pencil...

In every case it is taking which is created for Good, and using it for Evil...

Also, where do you get "God didn't let him know about it"?
God allowed Lucifer free will...

Nevermind forget that last part about Judas that was stupid. "son" and "father" are so different.
