It seems that we disagree on the rapture, as I dont personally believe it will happen until the day of the Lord, but I agree that it is a deception created to distract people from Christ, yeah : p
Ive heard stories of people who suffer from experiencing being abducted, apparently there are many people who claim that, while in their vision of being abducted, they cried out the name of Jesus Christ, and when they did they woke up in their beds.
I thought this was really cool : p Its not taken seriously by the scientific community of course : p
But yes, satan creates many false prophets. Those who push aliens and alien creation are definitely false prophets leading others to believe in fables and not the Gospel.

I think that it's possible they exist, but not definite. It's true God doesn't mention them in the Bible, but there are a lot of things He doesn't mention because we're not meant to know everything. Also, look at how people treat each other? People have been murdering each other since the second generation of humans and committing genocide almost as long. If humans can't even be trusted to not murder each other, how much more so couldn't they be trusted with another species? As a matter, of fact, people kill different species on our planet for sport all the time. They think it's fun. If God did create life on another planet then there are very good reason to keep it hidden from humans.
However, from what I understand, Earth is pretty unique in its ability to sustain life. But then if life was on a different planet there's no reason it wouldn't have different necessities than terrestrials.
But there's also no reason a lot of 'alien' sightings aren't unknown species of creatures on Earth. I don't think we've discovered all animals that exist. New species are found fairly often, and while most belong to a group of animals we already know about (ex. a new species of shrimp or spider), there's no reason to believe entirely new species (not related to any known species) won't one day be found.
Or, maybe the devil and demons are trying to deceive people into believing aliens exist.
Or the Government could have access to more advanced technology than they'd like us to believe.
In other words, I guess I don't have a firm opinion as to whether or not aliens exist and/or explanations behind different sightings. If they exist it's because God made them. If they don't then something or someone needs to be responsible because I don't believe all the people who report alien encounters are crazy or lying. But until we have definitive proof one way or the other, it's up-for-debate.

I think they are Demonic. The number of abduction stories we hear about never involve anything good. Most involve some sort of medical procedure. If these beings come from an advanced civilization I would have thought that they would know all about our anatomy by now. Also why are they so shy about telling us where they come from or making open and direct contact?

I saw a video once on a popular christian network site (it might have been the 700 club) and it was about these christians who were researching these people who had claims of alien sightings and I think abductions. The amazing thing was that they found out that when these people accepted Jesus as their Lord and started a prayer life the alien sightings and stuff always stopped. I might try to find the video if I have time..
