Scenario A: You clean up the mess.
Scenario B: Your children clean up the mess 4x more effectively.

Problem solved.
Scenario C Jesus returns and cleans up all the mess.

Scenario C Jesus returns and cleans up all the mess.
Praise God for scenario C.

In the meantime, you and your children can help clean up the mess.

I have four children and sometimes I feel guilty. I made the decision to have kids before any of this occurred to me. Everybody sins and most sinners never accept Christ as Lord, even most who do will not achieve maturity. This leads to selfish living and the spreading of pain and the possibility that they too will one day have kids that perpetuate pain and sin. The question is, would it be morally responsible to avoid having children? I just see all of the current struggles that they face and know down the road that there will be even more. Even if I am not the source of their pain, did I not invite this on them by selfishly having children? I know all we can do is pray and hope that they will find truth, but I wonder if my life would have been better utilized cleaning up the mess already present, rather then adding to it.
First of all, I do not know if I like to think, or not. Second, I think I disagree with your premises. You say most sinners don't accept the Lord. I disagree with that. And as far as reaching maturity, some mature faster than others, but it would be subjective, I think, to suggest most people who do accept the Lord don't reach maturity.

As far as bringing children into this world, the Lord’s whole purpose is to create people and lead them to heaven. If people decided to stop having children, the Lord would find some other way to create them.

God is good. God is gracious. God is merciful. God is just. God is love. God does not torture and torment any people for an eternity. The wages of sin is death. The dead know nothing. Surely as you live and breathe, you have a profound spiritual influence upon your children.

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Father, we lift up to You through Your everlasting mercy and love, the children of Hungry, who worries for their salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, Who gave His life as a propitiatory payment for the sins of the world, which have now all been forgiven, but the sin of unbelief. We ask that you quell his worry, and trust in You, that You are able to penetrate any reservations they may have about You, and surrender their pride of life to Your sovereignty and immeasurable wisdom and holiness. May the witness of Your awesome universe and the witness of Your faithful saints help guide them in this matter, that they may know You, the One True and everlasting God, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Some people shouldn't have kids. In fact, lots of people shouldn't have kids. But if they were smart enough to realize they shouldn't have kids and actually followed thru on not having kids, they might actually be smart enough to have kids and should have had kids instead of all the other idiots who in fact, had kids but shouldn't have. I married an idiot who shouldn't have had kids. Thank god none of them were mine.

Hows that for a riddle?

The Bible does say children are a blessing, but in today's world it is more of a risk that they will not come to Christ, seeing that the world is more arrogant, and self exalting, than in the past, and children are more disobedient than the past, which the Bible says that children honoring their parents is the first commandment with promise, and also the last generation before Jesus comes back they will not bless their father, and will curse their mother.

In other words it is more of a risk to have children today than in years past, and why take the chance, when the chance of them coming to God are less than in the past, and will decrease as time goes on.

My niece does not go to Church, nor does she believe the Bible as far as I know, and she said she does not want children for the fact the world is crazy, and does not want them to be subject to this world.

But of course with the relaxed stance that so many people take concerning Christianity, what does it matter, all they have to do is confess Christ,if they are disobedient to parents,oh well,if they are smoking crack, and marijuana,oh well, all is well, that is if they do confess Christ, but if they do confess Christ they would have to mean it,and you know how many children only say it to please their parents, but not mean it,like when the Roman Catholic Church was persecuting people in to confession,or complying, which they were doing it only to save their skin, and children might only confess so they get their parents off their back,or to give a good show to their parents,or might be forced to go to Church, which if they do not mean it in their heart it does not count.

It is a risk that some people do not want to take.
