I like dance music.
There is very little to choose from that is Christian.
If I listen to worldly dance music, is that a sin?
What sin am I committing?

ooh a big can of worms.

Mind you what is dance music to one is different to another.

given what I know about you then ballroom dancing is probably your favourite. No lyrics just music.
That case no sin.

I envisage you and FranC waltzing on the ballroom dance floor.

There is a lot of 'secular music' that I like. The words may not be edifying but the musical composition I like.
Something with a beat

I don't think listening is a sin. It becomes a sin if that music influences you to commit a sin or facilitates a sin.

When Moses heard the secular music (worldliness) playing and saw secular dancing (worldliness) after being in the presence of the LORD on the mountain, Moses anger burned, and he threw the tablets from his hands and shattered them at the foot of the mountain. Exodus 32:16-18

The scriptures say, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you," 2 Corinthians 6:17

You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4 NKJV

Remember, If it doesn't Glorify God, it must be casted out. CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON,...Galatians 4:30[SUB][SUP]

You forgot to mention that they were worshiping an idol they had made with their gold... pretty important part to leave out but understandable that you want to make it about music even though it wasn't really...

EDM in particular? I like to listen to EDM, however, the culture associated with it is very pagan. I am able to separate the music from the culture, but if the particular song is associated directly with that culture, I wouldn't recommend it. You cannot even look up the word EDM, Trap, Dubstep, Electro-House, or even Future Bass on Youtube without seeing explicit images of women somewhere. However, I would use specific song titles to avoid this.

Setting up a golden calf to worship is not the way, to be sure :)

On the other hand, we are exhorted to make a joyous
noise unto the Lord... with both voice and instruments.

Jesus warns us that there will be massive religious deception in His Name. Many Churches are bringing the world into the Church. When King David had his men set the "Ark of God" upon a new cart, God was displeased. David used the same method the Philistines used of transporting the "Ark of God (David borrowed an idea from the Philistines)." The Philistines represent the world. God smote Uzzah. 2 Sam. 6

What is meant by the deeds of the flesh? It means everything that is wrong; the good and the bad, i.e., sin. Paul said, "Which was good deceived me."

No longer halt between two opinions. God demands that everything must be done by the Spirit and not of the flesh. Anything and everything that is borrowed from the world is a new cart.

God smote Uzzah for his disrespect, or irreverence, when he reached out and touched the ark. You seem to have a decided proclivity against music and are not beneath twisting Scripture and presenting what I do not even want to call half truths to support whatever it is you are up to here. If God demands everything be done by the spirit and not of the flesh, does that mean you have stopped eating? Are you one of those breatharians?
