If I decided to stop following Jesus would he throw me in hell when I die?

Hell is a word translated from four or five different words in the original languages of Greek and Hebrew: Hades, Gehenna, Tartarus, and Sheol. It is simply a holding place of the dead, and as such, we all go there at the end of this life, to await the resurrection and judgement of all. It seems many people confuse hell with the lake of fire, which was created for the devil and his angels. None of us need worry about hell. We have placed our faith in the propitiatory sacrifice Jesus Christ made on our behalf out of His great love for us, when He poured out His righteous blood on the cross to save us from the consequence of sin (death) that we might have a life more abundant through Him :)

What?? I thought we're supposed to go to heaven when we die.

Heres the thing, you can choose to walk away from him, but you also must remember he doesnt leave or forsake you. If you choose to walk away from all that God has done for you when he gave you a hope, a future, a destiny, redemption from sin because he gave an ultimate sacrifice you will end up in hell.

I will pray for a rededication in Christ and for healing in whatever may be troubling you

You go to the grave when you die. The dead know nothing.
Does that mean we wouldn't even realize we're dead? Like we'll be in an oblivious state?

Why am I even alive? I hate life. I didn't ask to be born. I don't want anything to do with God. Thank you for prayers but I'm not sure that'll do much. People have prayed for me before nothing ever happens.

How could you realize you are dead? Consciousness is an aspect of life... what do you see when you look at a dead person? Scripture plainly states that the dead know nothing. A person dies, and their body returns to dust. Ashes to ashes, and dust to dust, as they say.

Makes sense.

There is one and only one thing that will 'get you saved'. Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That's it. There is no amount of works that will get you in, there is no amount of works that will kick you out. That's not to say there are no consequences to backsliding, but salvation does not hinge on them. As long as you honestly meet the requirements of Romans 10:9, you are saved.

As long as. The one, the only way 'in' is thru confession and belief ... the one and only way to change that is denial and disbelief. And the Bible says it will happen, so I have to believe it is possible. So yes, just as you must believe and confess Him to be saved, you must reject faith and deny Him to inherit this creation in it's natural state apart from Him.

That's what the lake of fire is, you know.

What is wrong exactly? I don't disagree, life sucks. God created man to work for Him. It's the game you hate I think. I hate the game too. Jesus (or Yeshua) came so we don't concern ourselves with the game. This is my understanding which makes sense. God created man as a soul and gave him a body like an animal as a vehicle on earth. The soul is designed to be in a body, otherwise it has no way to experience anything. The senses give experience. After the next age, the world will be remade with a new Heaven and Earth. Then we will receive new bodies that don't age and life will be better. If we choose not to follow Christ then we lose the opportunity to receive a new body and our soul will be forever without a vehicle. It's through our bodies that we communicate and experience joy and pleasure.

I want to do what's right in God's eyes (like ex. help other people) but I don't want to connect with him or have any personal relationship with him. He's got something against me.

Death might be one of the most misunderstood subjects today.
This study will tell you what God says on this subject.

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
Genesis 2:7.

God made us from dust in the beginning.
The spirits of both the
righteous and the wicked return to God. Their bodies return to dust.

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7.

The body turns to dust again, and the spirit goes back to God, who gave it. The spirit of every person who dies--whether righteous or wicked--returns to God at death.

"The body without the spirit is dead." James 2:26.

The spirit that returns to God at death is the breath of life. Nowhere in all of God's book does the "spirit" have any life, wisdom, or feeling after a person dies. It is the "breath of life" and nothing more.

A soul is a living being. A soul is always a combination of two things: body plus breath. A soul cannot exist unless body and breath are combined. God's Word teaches that we are souls.

Do souls die?

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:20.

"Every living soul died in the sea."
Revelation 16:3.

According to God's Word, souls do die! We are souls, and souls die. Man is mortal (Job 4:17; Romans 6:12; 1 Cor 15:53-54; 2 Cor 4:11; 2 Cor 5:4). Only God is immortal (1 Timothy 6:15, 16).

The concept of an undying, immortal soul goes against the
Bible, which teaches that souls are subject to death.

"All that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth." John 5:28, 29. "David ... is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day." "For David is not ascended into the heavens." Acts 2:29, 34. "If I wait, the grave is mine house." Job 17:13.

"The living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." "There is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10. "The dead praise not the Lord." Psalms 115:17.

God says that the dead know absolutely nothing!

"So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep." "His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them." Job 14:12, 21. "Neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." Ecclesiastes 9:6.

No, the dead cannot contact the living, nor do they know what the living are doing. They are dead. Their thoughts have perished (Psalms 146:4).

Jesus called the unconscious state of the dead "sleep" in John 11:11-14.

"So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep." Job 14:12.

"The day of the Lord will come ... in the which the heavens shall pass away."
2 Peter 3:10.

The dead will sleep until the great day of the Lord at the end of the world. In death, humans are totally unconscious with no activity or knowledge of any kind.

"Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Revelation 22:12. "The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, ... and the dead in Christ shall rise ... and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17. "We shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, ... and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. ... For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.

Those in Christ will be rewarded. They will be raised, given immortal bodies, and live forever after on the new earth. Those whose names are not written in the Lamb's book of life pass into the second death.

The devil's first lie to Eve was "You won't die" - a statement completely contrary to all Scripture.

"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die." Genesis 3:4. "That old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan." Revelation 12:9.

Satan told Eve that sin would not bring death. "Ye shall not surely die," he said.

It is one of the cornerstones of the devil's kingdom. He has worked powerful deception down through the ages through people who claim to receive their power from the spirits of the dead. (Examples: Magicians of Egypt Exodus 7:11, Woman of Endor 1 Samuel 28:3-25, Sorcerers Daniel 2:2, A certain damsel Acts 16:16-18.)

I want to do positive things in this world. I want to help people and make them happy. And I even want to be a part of the body of Christ and make a website/app that has something to do with God. Problem is God doesn't want anything to do with me!

God gave you life and desires you to have a life more abundant through Him. It is not possible any other way. How could it be? He is the author and giver of life. Jesus holds the keys to life. He is the light and life of mankind. In Him we live and move and have our being. What is really going on?

So are the saved going to the new Earth? Or the new heaven? I don't understand. Are we gonna be separated from God again because he's gonna be in his new heaven and we're on the new earth?

Who are you trying to serve? You cannot make nonbelievers happy with watered
down versions of God. They are seeking the Truth, and that is embodied in Jesus
Christ alone. There is no other Name under heaven by which we might be saved.

Well,he died for you.

You can do nothing greater FOR A PERSON than to die for them.

I would say, that your remark is not true. He,in fact, loves you.

Say the truth. Say "he loves me ". You made that up in your mind (he has something against me )

Now,if you have sin in your life, you are most likely under condemnation. Remedy that properly, but do not say he has something against you.
