Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who truly can't stand the sound of squeaky Styrofoam

Popping the little bubbles in bubble-wrap is a sensible alternative.
Shhhh. Those are MY bubbles to pop. (Mineminemine)

Hubby gets that one sometimes.

Mine is anyone touching an eyeball. I will never get how people can actually wear contact lenses. You have to touch your eyeball. Ew ew ew!

And commercials are horrible nowadays. A closeup of Matthew MacConaughey putting in a contact lens. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

I popping those bubbles. Best thing ever
Yes. Calms the nerves. When a kid, rode over them on bike. Lived in apartment, and the popping echo brought out the tenants.

I am more used to sunshine now than I was before...but I really don't like it when my teachers suddenly babble about things that are irrelevent to the subject we are teaching. Then they would sometimes continue with this for 10-20 minutes, wasting class time. It really just irritates me to no end, for some reason. Sure, it's okay for teachers to be funny, but come on. But it seems that the teachers who were actually focused and serious about their work are much less popular than the ones who regularly goof around, so I am probably alone on this.

I can't tolerate smells of cologne, after shave, perfume, eau du toilet, body sprays, most scented soaps, and most shampoos. Instant headache.

TV commercials with what are supposed to be catchy jingles just tick me off. I have enough things taking up space in my head that I am not in need of some earworm jingle about JG Wentworth, Daisy Sour Cream, or whatever demonic Mtn Dew concoction is being sold with overweight dudes bumping and grinding in the garage.

I in fact listen when people are talking in public transpo and other places (eavesdropping-), and try to learn thinking what would i say if i was part of their talk... but i also am annoyed with endless chatter, like teens or others being so noisy in a jeepney as if they owned the thing. Ppl dont have to be so KSP we say here (kulang sa pansin or lacking/needing attention).

Hey, are you in Alabama by any chance? When you said Hammer commercials, it made me think of Mike Slocumb, the Alabama Hammer. His commercials are truly annoying.

That's almost as bad as the appliance direct commercials that air in central Florida.
