HI all,

Wasn't sure where to put this news piece ....but here is a vlog by "The Vigliant Christian " - Mario....
.Apparently well known evangelicals were partaking in an ecumenical conference called" Together" , headed up by none other than wolf in sheeps clothing Jesuit Pope Francis in an effort to subvert the protestant church and bring her back to "Mother Rome". ....excuse me while I puke.....as this vlog explains - a new brand of "Christianity" has emerged and is really a counterfeit , new age version of the real thing ....watch the video and be on guard against anything which uses the phrases " interfaith" , " ecumenical" etc ....it is really code for one world religion. Take a squiz.

Ravi Zacharias is an evangelist, and an apologist.

Those are two categories of ministry that are generally undertaken in a group of lost or confused people.



Ya know, just thinking out loud.

True.But what about the others? Even if they went in for purposes of evangelism - involving Rome in the equation is like playing with fire IMHO.

Francis Chan is unapologetically evangelical and probably follows the Bible better than anyone else I have heard of, except for David Platt. If he has chosen to go, it wouldn't be to compromise, but to bring the gospel to the lost in Rome.

Post if you find out what happens at this conference!

Currently studying him and his wife's marriage book and video. Never heard of him before, but love him and his wife.

I have no idea about the others.
I don't even have any idea what Zacharias is doing there.
I'm just assuming that because he's an apologist, and evangelist,
it would be natural for him to go just about anywhere he's invited to speak.

Please keep an eye out for more info on this,
and keep us updated.

Yeah, this happens about once ever 20 years or so. (I remember when J.I. Packer set off a firestorm trying the same thing. I also remember when this was tried in the time of The Jesus People movement.) Since it happens about once every 20 years or so, I think it's safe to assume the wanted results have never happened.

I googled it and couldn't find it at all!

This is why I like links to reputable news sources, rather than every Tom, Dick and Harry who sets up a VLOG on Youtube!

The event happened last June. The reason not much will be found on the net about it ,is that there was a election going on .
So this event slipped by mostly unnoticed by folks.
I did find it buy googling the title of this thread .
