I heard someone recently talking about part time Christians.

It got me thinking what's the difference between a full and part time
Christian.
Part-time Christian - goes to church on Easter and Christmas, hoping they don't burst into flames as soon as they cross the threshold of the doorway. Owns a Bible that does a fine job of collecting dust and holding down it's portion of the bookshelf in the guest bedroom. Claims the title of Christian when it suits them or when they think it will benefit them, but acts all worldly every other minute of the day.

I haven't heard part-time Christian either. The comments made are all great!

I remember a saying when I was
born-again quite a few years ago.

He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. I'm wondering if that's what they mean.

I don't think that it is possible I think that those that could be considered part time Christians are those think that failure to live by Gods advice is expected of them.

But im kinda a nut because I also think that it's not necessary to technically be a Christian to be a good decent person, that's another odd belief some of those people have...that if you aren't a "saved" Christian then you are a bad person and going to hell, that's like saying that if you aren't a member of the biggest baddest street gang that you don't have protection.

Im glad that I am technically baptized and if I weren't I probably would get baptized just to be on the safe side but honestly I think that a person that lived as a decent person from the time they became adults so are responsible for themselves is all that God asks.

A good example is native Americans SOME are good decent people who don't believe in Christianity because of what Christians have done to them so there is perfectly valid reasoning for what they believe.

Where they go wrong is thinking that Christianity is exclusively a white religion maybe that was satans whole point of that exercise.
