Or the people who kidnap, beat and force some of these women into that lifestyle? Newsflash: there is no way out the sex traffic trade, unless you're in a body bag..
You should do something about the sex traffickers. Nobody else is.

Not all prostitutes are forced into it.

These two posts are contradictory. How is the woman who sins for a living, any different than the man who lays with her instead of their wife? Those men are basically prostituting themselves also, except they don't get paid.. I don't get why a prostitute gets your respect, while an adulterer does not. They're BOTH sinners, BOTH sinning. Prostitution really is no different than adultery, the woman still opens her legs for a man, regardless of whether he's a horny guy looking for a one night stand, or a horny husband looking to romp in the hay with his side dish. :/

Yes, women who sin to make a living have my respect.
No, men who lay with hookers instead of their wife, do not have my respect.

I never said ALL women are forced into it. I said SOME. And the entire world would have to take a stand to stop the sex traffic trade. One person can't do it alone..

You do realise a life of prostitution can lead to Hell right. It seems you aren't concerned for the souls of these women which is unfortunate

Sure, they are both sinners, but thats not the angle I'm looking at it from.

Why should I not have respect for them? Are they not at all worthy of love and respect?

I think you assume I want them to be sex workers, I simply respect that they are willing to work for a living.

You can love them as human beings but you clearly stated you respect them sinning for a living. Do you think Jesus would actually say yea i know your sinning but i mean at lease your working. The lord said to stay away from all forms of evil.

So what?

Do you know how much contempt Jesus had for prostitutes? I don't know, so tell me, please.

A woman could steal, they could live off of government hand outs, or she could use a marketable skill to make a living. If that skill is sex work, it is what it is. I respect her.

There's nothing honorable about prostitution to grant respect for. You know what is honorable & respectable firefighters & police officers who put their lives at risk to save others. But I mean you can respect what you desire to. God is going to judge everyone & he's not going to look at it from that perspective.

Seems kinda contradictory to me.

I mean, you think its wrong for men to cheat on their wives, but dont have a problem for showing support for a woman taking the career as a prostitute, and sleeping with married men who pay them? Doesnt really make much sene sto me : I

It's not a matter of me thinking one is right over the other. Never said they both were right or wrong. But I will respect someone who does what they must to live, and oftentimes take care of their children. So many in this world won't.

Yeah, maybe. But theres still a right way and a wrong way to provide a living. I mean, you wouldnt say you respect a drug dealer for providing a living for himself, would you?
And I doubt each and every one of them have children : p And besides, even if they do, its better to seek help and take an honest job over giving themselves over to such practices.

There are some hopeless people out here that don't know the same society you know. I understand and I still respect them for doing what they must.

As far as drug dealers, what makes them bad, other than violating the law? One change in legislation would make them entrepreneurs.
