The Greatest Adventure you have ever known

The Father says:

"Some of you yearn for a deeper walk with Me. Though I have many sons and daughters, I have few friends. Friendship with me is a walk that brings immense joy to both of our hearts.

Ask Me to draw you into a walk of friendship with Me. Allow Me to take your hand, and let us walk in a journey of great joy and love that never ends. One that starts here on earth and continues on throughout eternity.

Ask Me to give you th...e grace, every day, to walk with Me as My friend. I will share My hopes and dreams with you, My deepest secrets with you, as you entrust every care, every hope, and every dream with Me. I am the best listener you have ever known, treating your every word as a precious jewel.

You yearn for true happiness. True contentment. True joy. Those, and more, will be found in our friendship. I invite you to explore the wonders of My heart. To see others through My eyes of love.

For to be My friend is to truly walk as one heart with Me. To share our lives with each other. My friends, though few, know life in its true fullness. They look forward to each new morning and go to sleep in My loving arms.

Walk with Me as My friend and know what it really means to live. The door stands open before you. And through the door, the greatest adventure you have ever known."

Hi Stone,

I would have to say this is false. We are to judge all things with the word of God. The scriptures are our protection against false teachings and false prophecies.

The Father isn't calling on us to be His friend.

Jesus already called us His friends when we're In Christ through regeneration. We have already become a friend to Jesus.

John 15:12-15
“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

Those of us who are sons and daughters are already the friends of Jesus. We're already on the journey of life where we find joy, peace and lovingkindness.

God has revealed to us His heart through the scriptures and the Holy Spirit gives us understanding as He leads us and guides us into all truth. The true happiness, joy and contentment are found in Jesus. We already have them if we're in Christ. We have - joy unspeakable and full of glory.

1 Peter 1:6-9

In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,

so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

I agree Desertsrose, Stonesoffire has the wrong reasoning, but what makes you think you are a son or daughter of God through the Lord Jesus Christ?

Who is the Lord calling His friend when he states this fact?

God Bless

Hi justthefacts,

I answered your question about who is called the Lord's friend in my post above with the scripture I included.

Who are the children of God?

1 John 3:1-3, 10
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are.

For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be.

We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.
