There are times in our life where we come across people from different spheres of life, sometimes we develop a relation with them, then there are times when we tend to ignore some people.
The question is would you have ignored that person if you knew well in advance that you will never again see that person? Or would you have ignored that person if you knew that person needs to talk to someone very badly to deal with issues in his/her life? How would you feel if you came to know that God expected you to be as Christ was, when he dealt with people who had been rejected by everyone?
I just want to know your opinions.

We shouldn't turn anyone away, Christ doesn't reject us, ignore us, or anything else. we are the salt of the earth, the light, to show, be, and live as an example to them. We are to be as Christ like as we can. Think of the story of the Samaritan. Luke 10:30-37 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Our past, shouldn't matter, what's in our heart and how we live now, is the issue. It doesn't matter if we do or don't know if we'll ever see that person again, we may never cross paths again, what if they're an angel from God? sent to test us, our faithfulness, to see if will obey the word of God. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you, show compassion, remember, keep, and apply the fruit of the Spirit, that's the key right there. It doesn't matter where a persons from, what they've done, the color of their skin, eyes, hair, or anything. The Lord loves them all the same as the rest of us. Stay blessed!

Thank you for your input and the video, I agree with you, But the thing is that I just felt whether we are able to deal with people in the way Jesus dealt. i.e do we truly have the mind of Christ, are we really genuine or do we just act so?i.e. It is a time to examine ourselves in the light of the word.

Of course it is, we're told in 1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. Then 2 Corinthians 13:5 we're told Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith;prove your own selves. Know ye not that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates? Matthew 7:5 says Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote of thy brother's eye.

Honestly brother there's many that do just act the part, which is so very sad, and even frustrating at times. they falsely represent God and true Christians. However that's where our faith, prayer, and baring fruit of the Spirit really comes into play. We must keep the faith and pray the Lord will convict those, and that He help us be the best living example, true children of His, to show them the way. The fruit be bared, going right in line with the rest. Just some thoughts to ponder. God bless :)
