This thread for random ideas or thought. It could be about anything unless it is not too adult theme or cussing.

I think women that does not wear make up can just as beautiful. I see some ladies out there that does not need it because they are beautiful just the way they are. Just my ideas and some will disagree.

And as a woman, just because I wear make-up doesn't mean I'm dissatisfied with my appearance :).

Does anyone else pick something up, walk around with it, and then leave it somewhere while thinking of something else and then can't find it? I wonder if it is a syndrome and has a name... I am certain I have it :p

Once in a grocery store I picked up a few items and placed them in someone else's cart by mistake. After I couple minutes I realized what I had done and took the cart back to the spot I took it from. I forget to retrieve the items that I placed in the stranger's cart. Hopefully, there were not too expensive and that person found them useful.

I call that "a senior moment," but I've always been like that, so "senior" is relative.

There is something about leaving one room to the next room that does change our minds though. For instance, going into a grocery store. You're walking up to the door with all three things you want to buy in your head, and whammo! Walk in, and you can't remember any of them.

That's because the brain sorts by purpose. It is thinking according to where you are. In the parking lot, it's thinking parking lot things, ("Where's the carts? Is that guy going to pull out in front of me? Should I lean to the left or right to avoid that person landing in the same place I will be in two seconds?) In the store, it switches gears to think grocery store things. And somewhere in there your three-item list flies out the window.

Likewise, in your house you have kitchen thoughts, grooming thoughts, etc.

Ah, that explains why a Top of the Pops presenter introduced an 80's video saying "They were allowed to dress like that back then" , referring to the palette / silver style jackets that I remember from TV when growing up.
