I wonder if Jssus felt lonely, because people were afraid of him? He must have felt heavy hearted having noone to bring bliss to because of their fears. Was Jesus NOT a human being? I feel like he may have had a heavy heart because of this. :(

Certainly he felt the same way God feels. Hopefully God isn't lonely. It's our responsibility to see that he's not, isn't it?

He seemed pretty popular in the Bible.

Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

27 “Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” 29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.
30Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” 33He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.

For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its
shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

It definitely seemed like you either loved him or hated him. Actually, it still seems like people do that today.

I believe he knows what lonelyness was.. especially when he was praying in the Garden. He felt it all. brings God once again closer to us.

Children loved Jesus, and were not afraid to come to Him. I think He was overwhelmed by people wanting to be in His presence. Many times in the Bible, He had to take another route to get away from the crowd of people continually wanting to hear Him or be healed by Him. I don't think they were afraid, except when He cleansed the temple, of course.

One of the things about the gifts is that they are given thru one human to another human. I'm not aware of any examples of people healing themselves, it was always the Holy Spirit moving thru one person to another person. Paul healed how many, yet could not heal himself of his thorn. I always wondered if the reason he never received healing was because no one around him had the bal... 'scuse me faith to walk up to him, lay a hand and say a prayer.
