Do we relate to others as we feel God relates to us?

If we feel God relates to us negatively will we do the same with others?

I think we do.

What do you all think?

Not only hard, but impossible to believe that God relates
to us the way some here do, with all their slander and lies.

Jesus is the Truth. On the other hand, I see people going
to great lengths to justify their attempts to discredit.

Of course we know who the father all lies is.
He must be so proud of his children.

You are getting my gist.

now let's take it further.
Lets take it out of this virtual church and take it into the world.

If we savage each other here what are we like in the world?

If it's different then to me it's a big problem

LUKE 6:45.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

'home-life' will tell the 'whole story' of how one relates...

I don't think our feelings about God affect it, after all, some atheists treat people better than Christians do.

I think it has more to do with a combination of the other persons attitude, our own levels of energy/ good mood etc and past experience. The last months of working at tech support I was virtually holding my breath when the phone rang, expecting the person at the other end to start screaming at me. That makes it difficult to make the "How may I help" sound cheery :D

I think the "how we relate to people" is complex it's subject to
our own experiences both in this world and how far we have grown
spiritually.

It can even be down to something as basic as how tired we are, how
much worry and strife we have, how pressured we feel. How hormonal
we are. Lol :D

Yes, it's where you are can most be yourself that the true you and me
comes to the surface - that place where the mask drops off.

oh yes, Miri,

the MASKS...they MUST be recognized and desired to be taken-off in order to
have a true relationship or any growth at all in Christ...
