SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO VIEW THIS FILM
L.O.V.E.D it! The first one I got over kinda fast, but not the second one. It was great! And I gotta say, I hadn't actually bothered much with Chris Pratt before because he seemed a little shallow in what I had seen of him. However it this, my respect for him skyrocketed. (Still nowhere near as close to the amount of respect I hold for Hugh Jackman.)
(*SPOILER*) One of the more minor things that made me tear up was the Walkman. I was sad to see it go. I'm a big retro lover, and I sometimes get attached to minor characters. The Walkman being one of them.
Honestly, the Marvel universe has expanded so much since I was little. The first Marvel film I ever saw was X-Men when I was 8. (It was on the TV at this woman's house, and her and my mom were out working with some others to try and sort through her jam-packed three-car garage of all this random stuff.) So that's when I first discovered Hugh Jackman. (I won't allow myself to banter on about him.)
Then I saw Iron Man, and all the others. (Tony Stark has always been my favorite, but I never could/would choose sides for CACW.) And I'm totally pumped for Tom Holland's Spider-Man. The older ones are the classics yeah, and Andrew Garfield may have been a less cringy Spider-Man than Toby McGuire, but none of them were like the chatty humorous web-slinging kid in the comics, always making commentary and chattering away while he does his thing. The older ones just felt kinda... like there were pieces missing to the character personality and stuff. So yeah. Basically, I'm just really happy with how they MCU is progressing.
