Wow really? I don't know you at all, but after you attack my friend with a comment like this

You are really playing "Holier than thou"?

Again I don't know you at all, but you behavior is not matching your suggested moral superiority. What''s your problem with Magenta? And are you offended by truth? I've always found her comments pretty solid and in line with His word.
Shouldn't this be something better to ask in PM? Because do you really want your last question answered openly? Won't it be bound to end up in a she said/she said Royal Rumble?

Honestly, Magenta does know who her "theys" are, (many do), and no one wants this to end up in a no-holds-bar.

You know what's really weird. I've often told how God miraculously healed me of a chronic UTI. (Ain't pretty, but still a miracle.) I've told how he healed me from a bee sting. (I'm allergic to bees, but nothing happened when about-to-be-hubby prayed over that sting.) And, I've told how God took seven months to heal hubby from a as-close-as-you-can-get-to-fatal heart attack, and let him come back home to me.

Not once has anyone ever questioned me about what I've experienced. (Well, one banned-member told me I spend way too much time asking for prayers for hubby when I should be preaching the gospel, but he didn't question me about hubby being healed.)

I've often wondered why people accept these things from some, but not all.
Interesting.
§First of all, we each have a different purpose and some people spend a lot of time praying. They're known as Prayer Warriors, as we all must know.

Second of all, we're to go to God for everything. The storm on the Sea of Galilee. The apostles waited too long to go to Jesus for help. They should have gone to Him right away.

Third, we're to pray for everything and Always. our life is supposed to be a prayer.

So, yes, you did not pray for your husband too much as the poster told you. This was wrong to say. You prayed as much as you needed or wanted to. God was good and healed your husband. All good things come from God.

Preaching? That person preaches??? Oooookaaaay.

Blessings

No problems Depleted.
The two persons involved know what happened.

I post John 13:35 many times, but it seems to go unnoticed.

John 13:35 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Here's something about the bible:

While I'm gone, could you please explain

2 Peter 2:20-22
===========================================

FranC,

HEB. 6:4-6.
is basically saying the same thing, and that is, very plainly saying,
that you can't 'count the Blood of the Covenant as an' un-holy thing',
'there ARE consequences'.......................................................

Well the statement was made in the wide open so I asked about in the wide open, but you're right. I could have handled it better, and the "moral superiority" comment was a bit hard, but in my defense I qualified it with "suggested", which "implied" would have probably been a better word in retrospect. Also I apologize if that part offended you FranC . I honestly don't think I was "Too" bad in the context of what I was addressing, I kind of wanted a public answer too admittedly, but honestly are my few questions more offensive that what was said to Magenta? I may have missed it, but where was your rebuke to her?

Also right below this comment I'm responding to, FranC says "The two persons involved know what happened." and she is absolutely right, I had no clue who Magenta was talking about because she didn't use any names and was just using the situation as an example for a point she was making. The names would have served no purpose other than to start stuff, then out of the blue (from my perspective reading this thread alone) Fran jumps in with that insult suggesting Magenta is crazy and should seek professional help. That was ALL I had to go on, so if there is some ongoing feud between these too then maybe it would have been better for FranC to handle it with a PM, instead of posting in in the public for everyone to see and respond too? Maybe? I can't say you are wrong, and have to admit I could have done better, but can we at least hold everyone to the same standard?

Hey Jimbone,
Don't you lose any sleep over this!

I'm a very nice and calm person and am not easily ruffled. Those here who know me know this.

I did not hesitate to state what I did in the open because the person we're discussing said some pretty nasty things about me and to me right out in the open. Not on this thread. She knows what she said. It was pretty incredible to hear such ugliness coming out of a christian, to tell you the truth.

What I said I really meant. I believe there's some problem with anger and not being able to accept a person who does not agree with her. I truly believe some help would be good. From a pastor maybe.

I've pretty much left this forum so I'll not comment further other than to say that I was not offended by anything you said, you meant only good and to protect your friend. This was very nice of you.

Blessings

I do feel that OSAS is a very wrong doctrine and can cause many to fall away.

Of course those that believe this doctrine will explain away Hebrews too.
There are over 85 verses stating that loss of salvation is possible. I think there must be an instruction manuel on how to explain away each one!!

All I know is that as long as I stay with Jesus, He will save me from the harm caused in many ways on this earth, and also in the life to come.

"Well done, my good and faithful servant/slave"... (and then the person enters into the joy of his Master)

I wonder how anyone could explain that away???!!

There is even contention for the word servant or slave.
It could get pretty silly when we consider we're talking about GOD, the CREATOR.

Blessings

Well thank you, and I am sorry for not handling myself the best way either. I was never that "upset" myself, even though it's impossible to tell that threw text on a screen, this is the biggest shortcoming in this form of communication in my opinion, so absolutely no hard feeling over here at all. I LOVE it when people state what they mean clearly. and look at/take things head on. That was how I was coming at it too as well, so we are on the same page as far as that goes. I do appreciate the "olive branch" so to speak, the kind words, understanding, and I agree and accept wholeheartedly, and pray God bless you and your family as well. Have a nice day.

This post is antagonistic.
I've told you before how I interpret OSAS and yet you insist on throwing me in with a group that I do not agree with.
And there are plenty of people who believe OSAS that do not agree with some organization's explanation of all that it means.

You keep doing this to convince yourself that you can lose your salvation.
Well maybe you have.

Well, that's a direct result of the name it and claim it group that started around 100 years ago and TV preachers proved it was a good way to get rich.
There are so many smooth talkers out there and anyone who is healthy believes it to be true.
You and me are sick?
Oh, well, that's our fault.
All these big time believers in total healing look down upon us and say, "you don't have enough faith".
Or, "you aren't giving God enough money.
You can't be blessed.
In fact, you are cursed.
You should be like me.

Luke 8:

43including a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had spent all her money on physicians, but no one was able to heal her.

The name it and claim it crowd would have a field day on this woman.
