In eastern kentucky, there is this real long and narrow road called Highway 7. On one side you have a mountain wall and the other a 20 foot drop with a river. And its TWO ways! Its terrible! especially when a big coal truck is coming your way....
Where I'm from we use to have the most dangerous highway in the country before they added lanes.
It was a 2 way road from anchorage to Girdwood that was traveled everyday by the commuters from Girdwood to anchorage ,also by everyone going from anchorage to Homer every weekend for fishing,it was terrible it got to where you expected to be held up for sometimes hours while they cleared of a head on collision where people died.
You know how most people just can't help but take a look at a car crash if they happen to be passing by? That was lost in me when I was a kid and my pop would take me and my brother fishing every weekend, you'd drive from anchorage to homer and back and you'd see a fatal accident both ways.
I think that falling asleep at the wheel was the main reason,a few seconds and about 36" and that's it you done.
