dear God I feel like a yo-yo, every time I get so full of Hope and think everything will be ok, and believe in my heart that Donnie's thinking about us and regretting his decision to choose drugs over us..., it seems as though I just start crying and lose all hope!! and then its hard for me to stay positive when our son is acting out so wrong. I think 6 months was his mark that he hit and I think he's given up all hope that he will ever see Donnie again!!. I'm trying to have faith and hope, and I do, then sorrow and doubt take completely over. Please lord heal Donnie, touch his mind and heart. Let Donnie remember us, his family, who love him unconditionally and bring him back now. In Jesus name I ask you this. Please answer my prayer and heal us all. Amen

Lord, I bind the demons that are holding Donnie captive, and I loose him from their captivity, send the angels to minister to him as an heir of salvation, renew his mind, thru your word, give him a hunger for it, let it saturate his mind, help him to return home, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

mine as well donnie n deb :) Keep faith sister God is well able to do the things we cant wuite see yet, and when He does make sure to glorify His name for the sake of Others who it will testify to !

My husband is an alcoholic, he was sober for 5 years and then last November he started drinking again... God revealed a lot of things to me during this time, and one of those things was about hope. Hope is an action word, like Patience or Faith, it is something we choose to do no matter what this physical world is showing us. It isn't some divine feeling that God just grants us... believe me I prayed hard for that... but it is something we have to exercise and put into practice despite the "worldly evidence"... I have spent many of moments on my face crying out to God for my husband and our family and one day it just felt like God said, I love you, get up and have Hope. I came to this Christian Chat Forum to hopefully get help and maybe share my life to help someone else... My husband is a week sober again, and although he has put our family through a lot over the last few months, my hope is in the Lord and I know He loves me, and He loves you... No matter what happens your Joy comes from the Lord, not from this world or the people in it... So try to enjoy your life, your family and just give it to God and let Him carry that burden for you. I know I wouldn't have made it through a moment without my Joy and finally handing my burden to the Lord. We are still in the midst of what happened and still working through things, but God can take anything broken and turn it into something amazing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I thank everyone for their prayers and I asked again that you pray for this with me I know God will hear two or more people praying please agree with me with this prayer and help me pray for me Donnie our son and our family
