doesnt seem this could possibly be an argument so...

The most amazing thing about Jesus TO ME is that When He came, He didnt gather up the "righteous", but instead he came to gather up the "sinners" of society and teach them the ways of God. He Loved them, ate with them, spoke with them, Healed them, went to thier houses, called them by name, treated them with kindness and mercy...He saved them from condemnation of "religious" society, from the pious and "too good to associate woth sinners" crowd.

He came to those who Knew they had made so many mistakes, had pasts colored scarlet , the ones who'd been beat up in life, the ones who wouldnt win the popularity contests, its Just amazing that Jesus Loves a man such as I , who could never deserve His Presence, who didnt deserve His Love when I needed it most, everday in every way. Dont Let religions crowd chase you away from Jesus...He didnt let them keep Him away from Us :)

He came to teach us things that the keepers of the door had never learned, because we Believe Him

Luke 7:47 "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little."

The most amazing thing to me about Jesus is his ability to love us when we are yet sinners, and to give his life for such wretches as we were, but praise God he did. I love him so.

His constancy, His unfailing love. It does not matter what I do, say, or feel- He has promised to never leave me nor forsake me. All of the ones in His hand will not fall out, nor drop out, nor even jump out of their own volition. The security, and the peace. These amaze me.

I won't go into my full life story but it was pretty shocking.

I remember once when I was being counselled by a Christian couple during one meeting they asked me what was going through my mind as we talked?

I said "I have a picture in my head of sitting in a bin, all the crap that I am and has been done to me is with me and I can't get out of this bin"

They then asked me "What do you think Jesus would do for you?

I said "Hold his hand out and pull me out"

They said "No he wouldn't, he would get in that bin with you and put his arm around you and say I'm with you and when your ready to leave this bin we will do it together"

amen i think thats the point of Jesus taking on the nature of man, he climbed in the bin with us, and has offered to lead us out , Which is really the Fathers hand reaching down to pull us out :) your response there reminded me of this....

Hebrews 2: 9-18 "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

12
Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
13And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

16For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.17Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Given my above post

My mum through me out and I was fostered at the age of 14.
I went to a couple I knew in the church. My foster dad tried to sexually abuse me for 5 years.
i only kept in contact when I left because I loved my foster mother.

I hated my mum and my foster dad.

Unforgivenss was in my heart.

God restored my relationship with my mum. As for my foster dad it was not a place I was going to visit.

For 27 years I hated this man with a passion and couldn't wait for him to die, then I would be set free.

5 years ago after coming back to church I was due to go and visit the foster the parents.
I made an excuse not to go.

As I was a few days later taking to God I felt him say "Let us go to your foster parents and deal with this" I said no.
God said the same thing 3 times and I said no 3 times.

The 4th time God said to me "Bill what part of you and I do you not get, I'm coming with you, you and me, now please trust me"

So I went.

Long story short God helped me forgive this man, so much so that when he died a year later I was there with him and sorted out his estate.

When it was all over and done with God said to me,

You see Bill you would never have been free when he died, you had unforgivenss in your heart, to forgive is to set the prisoner free and that prisoner was you.

Without Jesus in me and talking to me and helping me I would not have been set free and healed of the pain and hurt and guilt and dirtiness I felt.

Thank you Jesus for all you are for us and that you actually deal with us as you do and how you know we will respond.

Thank you.

I don't know about anyone else but when I'm struggling or seeking or wanting to know more I find myself starting with "Jesus"

If I'm struggling it's "Jesus please help me"
If I don't understand something it's "Jesus please help me"
and so on.

You are right and we know the following

Romans 8:28-29

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Notice he works good to conform us to the image of Christ.

If we allow him then people will see Jesus in us.

What a calling, what a blessing, what a privilege.

God trusts and believes in us to show the world and those he has given us to show Jesus in us to them.

amen it has to be bro, Hes the One God sent to save us, every day in every way :)

acts 4:10-12 "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the NAME OF JESUS Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

so id certainly agree with that and spend a good amount of time calling on the same name as you ! its what makes us a Cristian
