I had all of my wisdom teeth removed at 25, all at the same time.

Alot of people told me Id be in pain after, but I never really felt pain. In fact I for real felt just fine : p Wasnt at all a big deal for me. Four teeth too. Guess I was just lucky, haha.

ohhhh i cant handle i hate to complain

....
2.5 hours till my next 12 hour shift

im shaking...

i feel like somethin is seriously wrong

i dont know what,impacted means

but i think this is it....

please say a prayer for me
Impacted means what it sounds like it means. Ever try to pull a rock out from under tree roots? Not going to happen without removing the tree roots. Your wisdom teeth are the rocks. The teeth you already have are the roots. Your teeth can't bypass teeth. And your mouth is complaining about it in pain.

(And, hopefully by the time you read this, your mouth is telling you "Thank you thank you thank you for stopping that." :))

got cpl kinda of pills and an xray and appointment

lol

ya its impacted

gettin ot removed on the 17th
Now, line up some job interviews after the 17th, because you have one sick... "fatherless child" of a boss. Coal miners died in their 40s from inhaling coal dust all those years. Asbestos killed/is killing a lot of guys from inhaling that junk all those years. Magnesium took the place of asbestos after that. Seriously, dude! You may think 60 is old, but do you want to be dead before 40? You need a safer job!!!

I've worked at a factory where OSHA cited about 100 safety violations and yet that was a nursery school compared to where you work!

Really! I don't want you keeling over before you hit 40, but you're working for people who just plan on hiring other desperate people after they use you up. They're much more concerned for their $100,000 machinery than their workers. The recession is over. There are better jobs to be found.

your advice was one of the things that was on my mind when i decided to go to the dentist

i opted out of the stronger pain pills because i dont want my mind to be altered

but the antibiotics are helping ALOT already

the tooth was pushing against some nerve and the infection caused the soft tissue to swell

now that the infection is going down the pain is like 1/5th of what it was and i can bear it enough to wait a couple weeks before the surgery

thank YOU and gary and demi and resurrection

all gave good advice

I hate pain so much that I even hate watching other people in pain. So, I didn't watch the video. But is that Tom Hanks, was he on an island, and was an ice skate used to help remove a tooth?

I'll make the old joke for you. lol

My dad was cheap, until he got rich, and then he just became eccentric. (Eccentric -- the rich man's version of being cheap. lol)

To this day, I don't know if I ever had mumps, because every time I got sick, my glands swelled, and Dad wouldn't pay for all those doctor visits just to find out if I had the mumps. (When I was young, most kids got chicken pox, measles and mumps before they hit puberty. lol) BUT Dad was religious about his teeth. He went to the dentist twice a year.

I lived three impacted wisdom teeth four times, because no way was he going to spend that kind of money, and they really were so impacted, I couldn't get my mouth opened to get them pulled out.

Fast forward to Dad turns 45. At 45, Dad had all his bottom teeth removed and replaced. I haven't been able to afford dentists for 20 years often. (Usually go to get a tooth removed. Actually had a cavity filled last year.) Still got all but one bottom teeth. And, you can't tell the one is missing, because when the wisdom teeth came in, that tooth pushed forward and the teeth on either side came together.

So, 45 years of twice-a-year dentistry got Dad a whole row of implants for bottom teeth. And 20 years with little dentistry has had me keep my teeth at least until age 61.

Age! You just can't predict how it turns out. lol

Good then tell him the truth. Tell him you fear for your health, and ask him if he'd give you a good referral when you look for a new job. Who knows? Maybe he'll be kind enough to give you the safety gear you desperately need. If there is goop in your nose, you can wipe it out. but, if there is goop in your nose, it's also in your lungs, and you can't wipe that out. Image all you've gotten out of your nose and realize how much more is still in your lungs.

My husband use to have snowball fights with coworkers using asbestos. Now he realizes some of those coworkers have died from that. Only by God's grace has he not died.
