My guess is that many of them are interested in Christianity and/or want to talk about it and want to get involved in the dicussions but might be a bit shy or intimidated. Most are probably looking for a thread topic that makes them feel comfortable enough to post.

Some are probably very cautious due to having trust issues with other people and even Christains.
:)Now that's a post WELL deserving of rep.

I don't post much because I'm a dyslectic. Proof reading can be really time consuming, and yet a text longer than a few sentences can contain a lot of misspellings, bad grammar and syntax...

There are times I don't want to jump into the melee. If a thread has gone hostile, I might post what I want to say, then go find something a little kinder. I'm a conflict avoider. And where did some of these ideas come from??? Goodness!

Other times, what I want to reply to has been posted days or weeks before, so i just read.

I have wanted to post a number of times, then find a reply someone else posted that was almost exactly what i was going to say, so i just "like" their post.

I think a lot of the guests are probably bots, and not really human visitors.

I am really not interested in discussing much of what people post. Like: tell us about your nickname, women in leadership (will turn into an argument), The Sabbath (again most of us have our opinion and aren't really interested in changing it, discussion will turn into an argument), KJO - really, people still think KJ version is THE only authoritative bible???? - will turn into an argument), why Obama is the antichrist (again, really???) and on and on....

I do post, but on only a very few threads.

Maybe I am a curmudgeon....maybe I am particular about who I speak to about what. Sometimes I can't stop talking, but that doesn't happen here!!
You read my mind. Lol

I always drop out in summer! I have a big yard and vegetable garden, lots to do! Then there is camping and sailing!

Our A/C stopped working, today! It is in the 90's! I like to come into the cool on my breaks, so until my husband gets the parts and fixes the A/C, I am inside. And it is too hot to play flute, which I need to do, because my worship team is playing on Sunday morning!

Anyway, I really lose my interest in commenting in the summer. So, I don't post much!

A/C? Automatic car?
I think many join sites to read the crazy things we post and just enjoy reading them. :)

Please forgive me, i do not mean to be rude or offensive in any way to some people who make threads, but seriously, it would really help if a lot of the nonsense threads could be deleted, then maybe we could see the threads that are worth posting on, i mean some times it feels like i am back on facebook being part of some pages, some threads are all over the place, i am not being nasty, just being honest, some threads need to be dumped, it`s a Christian site and topics should be kept to speaking about Gods word, not this cafe or that cafe, or date here or date there, just my opinion...xox...

We respect your opinion. However, being part of a family means getting to know each other and discussing all areas of life. I honestly believe that more than once Jesus sat down with His disciples and just chatted about their favorite animals and that little restaurant in Galilee that made great bread.

Yes i do understand what you are saying, but my point is really about a lot of threads that are made are to do with nothing, or someone coping someone else, it just feels as if the threads are moving away from discussing the bible, have you looked lately at some of the titles, more are concerned about how many partners one has had, people make one thread, then when no one joins in they make another thread and the list goes on...Sorry if i came across snotty, i guess the original post just gave me an open window to vent  ...xox...
