I came to CC to visit "new friends" too while I drank my coffee... now, I'm just going to go out and lay in the sun and "crisp up" my skin! Blessings for your day as well!!!

Hi Tabitha! I'm waiting on 5:00. So boooooring. It's raining outside so not many people coming in today. Phone isn't ringing either. Just sitting here playing on the computer.

Oh! Just heard from my daughter. She got her flowers finalized for her wedding on Tuesday. I'm excited and scared and stressed and sad and happy all at once!

Today I have continued my quest
To clear out all of my possessions worldly
Four bags of junks went into the trash
Two bags of toys appointed to the Goodwill
Trimming the bushes
Trimming them down
Laundry is done and folded
The plants inspected and prayed over
Glory to God the tomatoes got their flowers
Swept up the kitchen and it's clean now
Went on a 2 miles walk into town
It's a hot day a lot of sweat oozed down my brow
So now I'm just sitting back and cooling down

I got derailed by cheesy potatoes...that sounds amazing...I'm making cakes.

Growing older by the minute... whassup wit'chu?

your tomatoes are going to be so good, I don't have a garden
I have no idea how to make a garden...lol
you amaze me with all you got done today

Well it's not really much of a garden per se
I don't have all that much space
So all the plants are put into pots
This way you can grow much in just a tiny place
Early Girls is the name of the four tomatoes
Then in one pot I have Basil, Parsley, and Cilantro
In another Ginger and Orange Mint
You never grow mint, you just maintain it
Then there is Rosemary in the shade by herself
And two earthen vessel holding strawberries which are growing well
Then yesterday I installed some lettuce
Four heads in one vessel, and two that are separate
And also I added yesterday a Walla Walla Onion

I came on here. Then took my mum shopping. Then took the tractor out to move some woodchippings... Then came back in here for now.

Oh my goodness that all sounds so good and healthy
Yes, I think growing them In a bucket It the best way
my mom grows her veggies like that
Early Girls are so sweet and yummy, they are my favorite
Oh and Strawberries, they are so good
that's awesome!

Heh we shall see
First they must grow
But I have all ready gotten a bit off of the Parsley, Basil, and Cilantro

Last year the main strawberry gave early fruit
But in the Winter it died in the snow
So last month my father planted others sticking out of it in a row

The good news on them
Is they have also born early fruits too
Usually from what I'm told they don't give out until year two

The tomatoes are a project
I have tried a different race of their kind every year
The Early Girls I never heard of, they were suggested by my neighbor

Rosemary she's a patient lady
My one last year died too much water took its toll
I wised up about her ways and this year didn't forget the drainage hole

The mint also a racial project
Before I've tried Peppermint, Spear, Chocolate, and Apple
Ha anyone can grow mint, keep her apart or the other plants she will invade and grapple

The lettuce is new
It's one my other neighbors grow in their garden
I fret they won't have enough room, so that's why I took two and made them separate then

Last year I tried onions
But in the same pot as the roma tomatoes they got bugs a lot
So to save Roma I uprooted and cast away them to prevent her from being lost[/QUOT
Onions yum, sounds like a lot of work but good for you hun
yes early girls are the best, so red and sweet
I guess I can grow mint If Its easy...lol
I would love to grow lettuce, and just pick it from the garden...yum!

Yes my neighbors just continually pick the lettuce
So it seemed to me to be an easy and profitable vegetable
I do indeed like onions a lot
So this time around I gave them their own pot

My other neighbor the Jewess
Indeed her tomatoes are on the block the best
So I asked her last year about what was their strain
I've been eager all winter to try them and test what she claimed
