At this moment in my life, there is nothing that I couldbuy, nothing anyone could give me that would enrich
those times I share with Jesus There were times years
ago when I tried external things to satisfy me and give
me some sort of peace and even joy. Buying a better
tv, going to a baseball game, anything that would feed
an ever growing appetite. but rather than helping me
find contentment, my soul became more empty. Then
I brought Jesus into my life and while not immediate;
it was a journey, I came to places I had never been.

Life prior to that was like a snowman, when the weather
was right, it was great but soon it would melt away. So
with Jesus in my life, I came to find some meaning to
my day, something to look forward to, something that
wouldn't slip through my fingers. As the years went by,
I began to feel contentment and purpose and to live a
life where I didn't need to look for anything, all I needed
was within me. I didn't need to search for anything. I
was not looking for anything because God was inmy life.
So what was once a mostly happy heart, became a
a glowing heart. More than I could have ever have
imagined. I am grateful to Him always.

Brother DustyRhodes, I thank God (Psalm 106:1-2) for keeping watch over you (Psalm 121:8), instruct you and teach you in the way you should go (Psalm 32:8). May our lamps continue to bear the light of our Holy Spirit, burning bright and shine before all men and women (Matthew 5:15; John 5:35) as we keep our characters or moral dispositions free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with our present [circumstances and with what we have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] (Hebrews 13:5) Oh, how great is our God! "For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39). - Swiss Church Artist Milan
