try a local church, you can find Christians there 
Typically it's a youth service or has mostly youth there. I don't think it would go over too well for a middle aged couple asking a teen if they want to hang out sometime. Lol

I am from Houston. I have not seen anything Christian based as far as travel groups and stuff like that. At some churches I go to they dont do anything, but at others my first day there everybody is inviting me out that night for a dinner, they all usually go out to eat sunday night. Then when you go eat with them and talk to them they invite you to do whatever else they do together. There is alot of them that gang up to go do stuff together. You just have to go to alot of different churches and talk to everybody.
