Just a warning that I received a message from someone sounding very scam like. They always start with Hello Dear and the English is a bit off although they say they're from America. Just be careful. Usually these folks like to steal someone's photo and scam others.

Yes I have encountered these people many times so much so that about a week ago when i received a random pm from a new user I didn't even respond to it because i know their tactics so well. It always begins with them randomly pm you and they have either no posts at all or very few they use sweet lovingly words in their speech like more than what is normal for even the most loving person they also will after talking with you for a while want to talk to you via email and if you do refuse to do so they get upset.

Most likely they know that the mods can read pm'ing and so they want to talk in a more (secure) way and then give you a very moving sob story and asking for money promising a butt load of money in return but you need to give them your info. I have brain damage and I have had to be in special ed all my life and even I know not to give your info out especially online

They're pretty easy to spot. Just the Hello Dear and the picture of what looks like a businessman is enough for me to say, no thanks. If they actually read my profile it says I'm married, so that's another tell tale sign. The respectable men on CC don't randomly message me saying, Hello Dear, I find you attractive and witty, I'm looking for friends.

Terrorists have come on this site to try to lure people to travel by means of love, business, or religious trips to set them up to be kidnapped or killed.

Right after this, I got a "Hello Dear, Let us pray together" PM as the first act of someone joining this site.

Just call me picky on who I pray with. lol

Note to self: Don't ask Fenner for money.

And, I was just gonna ask you for a new Audi and a trip to Rio! (BTW. Where is Rio and why does everyone want to go there?)

LOL
