Ok state your country/ nation you're from first and then the country you want to ask about. anyone can answer it doesn't have to be the person asking the question. And with Israel you dont have to be jewish someone like Piff is a bit knowledgeable about Israel

You can ask about Israel too unfortunately I don't know much about it or some Israelis , or my Jewish brothers and sisters tho their rare here can help you out.

Have there been any big changes that have made a difference in any way since you have a new leader, or do things just carry on the same? I dont mean what the news reports. I mean at actual ground level.

The more things change the more they stay the same. I haven't noticed any significant difference, same old, same old.

Hard to know how to answer this question since stuff that happens "on ground level" is also news and pretty big stuff is happening nationwide and at the state level. We don't see the effects of the feds as immediately as state leadership changes, so most of the "ground level" stuff varies on a case by case basis with the exception of health care and immigration. Even there, you won't see exactly the same story in New York as Arizona.

I'll say in my state I notice people are much more divided and antagonistic towards each other than prior to the election, and working at a place that deals with people in the community I'm seeing the effects of the shift with many stressed over their possible loss of care. Addiction epidemics are getting worse and school performance is declining. In short, the US change in leadership alone has not begun to curtail the deterioration of low-middle class and poor communities. Whether the trend continues as a result of the new administration remains to be seen, as we are only half way through the first year, but I have no reason to be optimistic given their behavior.

Keep in mind national policy debates in the US have been almost completely halted by the Russia scandal. But again, the vast majority of local issues are addressed by states and cities. The president has very little effect except when he makes sweeping decisions like attempting to ban entire religions.

Nah, unless someone starts talking about politics. There seems to be more crazies that end up in the news than ever before though. Just yesterday there was a cop who shot another cop in a murder-suicide at one of the cop's home in huntington beach (very expensive place to live, one cop was female), and in another local town they found 3 people shot dead in their apartment in another murder-suicide. Just a few years ago you'd hear about a murder-suicide only once or twice a year. And now we also have more news stories of road rage where people are getting run off the road or shot at.

None of it has anything to do with the election. Its just been escalating for some reason. My theory is end times, but a lot of people don't agree with me.

Since I am the rare Southeast Asian here, I wanna know about the country of about 90% of everyone here; the U.S.

1. Do most people really like Trump or really despise him nowadays?

2. What is your opinion on Singapore? Have you visited the country before?

3. Is the average American diet as bad as people make it out to be?

4. Is your role model (if you even have one) American?

1. You either love 'im or you hate 'im, there is very little in between in my experience.
2. Never visited, so don't have an opinion
3. I would say at one time it was. I would also say that most Americans realize that now and try to remedy that. Still, the fast-paced lifestyle keeps many people eating unhealthily.
4. I have two. And the answers are Yes, and No :).

There is 54 year difference in our ages, and we are the opposite gender. She's Calvinist, and I am not. But our answers are identical.

So lamb is lamb lol and sheep is beef , beef mince, beef steak our bros and sisters call it ' hamburger' different to an actually hamburger you know meat Patty's, lettuce etc . Maori hangi is like a Samoan umu they cook roast veges meat in the ground YouTube should show one they have modern ways of doing it when I grew up and for decades they had more traditional methods but because im mostly Nz European best to ask a NZ Maori i dont want them saying whos this pakeha? (Pakeha Maori word for non Maori person )on here or Nzer who knows what they were talking about I've got vague memories of it cooking it in rocks and using a covering of potato sack o.0?? Very vague and early memories. In the islands Samoa they cook it and cover the food in leaves very old traditional method Maori came from the islands. What ya know? You cooked it few weeks ago - cool I'm surprised, its nice aye? You can put berries on and Google Jamie Olivers version altho I don't think you want the calories lol! Your fluffy sheep comment cracked me up -fluffy kins . we say Auckland has four seasons in a day - the weather is very temperamental , changeable.
Would be cool if you could visit one day or we just met up in a tropical island in Aus/ Australia . Sometimes you have to pay for hangi can be expensive. Hangi at Maori Marae, a marae is like where the Maori community and non Maori community meet in a Maori traditional house . hangi is cheaper or free I think at Marae . we don't get snow in Auckland which is in the upper North Island but I use to live in Christchurch in the South it snows there . to describe snow to you its like something's when its thick and your walking on it it makes a crunching sound esp on wooden decks and like if your not careful if your walking on a bit of land or a mountain hill and the ground level is deeper than you know that can make you sink down / fall down when its deep or snowing heavily. Yah its heaps of fun! If you did comecNZ I think I'd have to come to indonesia to be fair I'd love to try your food even though I can't really take spice still yuum food would be yum! I think jet star airline prices are pretty good so Indonesia maybe. Its winter I'd take you to the mountains;) that's all for now my friend
