Most of my poems are not suitable for this forum, but I''l post a few select ones here for you perusement/amusement/bemusement.

Urban Myth

The virtue and the vice within you surrealistic eyes
My rabid heart looks deep into them, I am euthanized
Such purity, not of this world, and it is mine to hold
A saint of Hyperborea to save me from the cold
I am the envy of the Mamluks and the Tartar Hordes
And by your side I walk among the ladies and the lords
Without you I would be a wraith, a fraction of a man
But you are mine, and now I am an emperor with plans
Despite the script, the prophecy, King Midas' urban maze
Unbound, we found a common ground, Discordia be praised!
You fan the flames that keep me warm, the Salamander's breath
And shelter me from Stribog's storm, with you there is no death
I'll keep the dream alive in you, I'll be your Falun Gong
I'll be your muse, ensnaring you with epic, bardic songs
For you will never tire of me, nor will I leave your side
I know you're out there somewhere, but I found you first inside
The Satyrs and the City Nymphs are the ones wo are lies
I see you clearer than them all, each time I close my eyes
The Sibyll told me in a dream that we would be united
'Till then you live inside my mind, I'm not the slightest slighted
One day the fates will bring you to me, by the monolith
Until the day I touch your skin, you are my urban myth

Street Pizza

Three victims fell to RTD, three martyrs in one week
And one of them was laying down, a gimme, so to speak
Like party favours handed out, they offered themselves up
Just like a snack upon the black, the asphalt ate them up
Orgasmic moans and crunching bones was the last sound they made
And cleanup zones on asphalt's stones were banquets for the shades
Consumers fat like tumors all self righteously complained
Now RTD must have its drivers rigorously trained
I know to thoroughly assess the street before I cross
Those dumb speedbumps were asking for it, it was no one's loss
Unworldly and unwary, and decidedly unbright
I bid them all a bon voyage, to the forgiving Light
You are the gods of public transit, you must purge the weak
Don't let the rules deprive you of the power that you seek
Don't listen to the boss's drivel, have yourselves a ball
And give the masses what they need, street pizza for us all!

Rabishu

"These are the prayers of the ensnarers, the liers-in-wait, the blind fiends of Chaos, the most ancient evil"
--Abdul Alhazred

The lies of Marduk, you embrace
The Elders won't enlighten you
The Ancient Ones wait patiently
An extreme makeover is due
I tag their seals on sallow walls
Where they are needed to remind
From Micronesia, Cthulhu calls
A dream of what we left behind
But it is closer than you think
Will we be ready to return
To madness that preceded life
Or will tomorrow glut the urn?
The burden of enlightenment
Is not a burden in the least
The shadows are my medium
I'm liberated like a beast
Abhoth beneath my steel-toed boots
And Azathoth inside my heart
Hastur upon the summer breeze
How is it wicked when it's art?
This handsome doll resembles you
But he will not when I am through
It's fun and games and I am just
A kooky, spooky, Rabishu

Defiance

Your tribulation seems to have no end
Into the Massuh's sweatshop you descend
Subliminal commands from god knows where
Objectifying you, until you dare
To choose, but to acknowledge nonetheless
For you must choose, or you will be possessed
By fruitless machinations of unrest
Your phobias demanding to be blessed
Neuroses are exploited and abused
To keep some psychopathic god amused
The strong will choose which fiends to entertain
The weak upon the altar will be slain
If you indulge, the power's in the deal
If you defy, it is in you for real
A win-win situation either way
Why let your grindstone polish you away?
Your gears will work, regardless of your choice
You must be independent of "the Voice"
It will not go away, it is a force
Your own agenda must be your recourse
So be a man, make up your own **** mind
For wasted years are bitches to rewind
Defiance is a cosmic force as well
Will you stand over, or beneath the spell?

Suffer the Witches

The cradle of humanity, by poverty depressed
Embraced the missionary's tales, impressed by his success
Mercedes-driving holy men and prophets of the trend
Denounce those wicked witches, in god's name they are condemned
The witches are rebuked and beaten, cut and bound and burned
Put through ye olde midaeval tortures, 'till their souls are turned
The blackest-hearted ones among them, laid to rest like dogs
Perhaps they still are lurking out there, in the rampant bogs
Their kin are charged a hefty fee to lift the witch's pox
Eight months of wages goes into the charitable box
It is a boon to the afflicted, to be good and rid
It's cost effective when the wicked witches are your kids
But Obatala didn't make them evil or impure
You parasitic puritans, go eat your priest's manure
And may Shokpona bless you with afflictions and with rot
And may you stick Ogun's machete where the Sun shines not
Regardless of your holiness, salvation you bequeath
You close your eyes and you'll be looking at my yellow teeth
