I HATE it when lazy people do not return the shopping carts to the corrals, when there are literally corrals every few feet. Lazy people just leave the carts in a parking space. It is very rude to other customers and the employees in the store who have to waste precious time gathering all the carts together. No one is in that much of a hurry where they can't push an empty shopping cart ten feet to return it to the corral.

Oh my goodness, this is totally my pet peeve too. It drives me nuts. Also, when people use a handheld basket and put it on the belt in the checkout instead of removing the items and placing the basket to the side...I must have OCD or something

I've honestly never seen people put the handheld basket on the belt without taking their items out, first. That must be annoying to the cashiers, I would think.

I agree with the shopping baskets into the cart corral. But, I think it's your OCD kicking in about not taking things out of the basket. I have done it from time to time. The cashier can take things out as easily as I can and there is no need to hadle the same item twice. - Of course, maybe that is my OCD about efficiency kicking in. LOL

I say I'm kind of guilty but I will never block any cars or put it in anyone's way. If I come back from Walmart, I just leave them on the side where everyone else leaves it and it doesn't interfere in anyway. If there was a corral near by I'll put it in.

I love it when I can take carts back for people, even when I despise their behaviors, for it is living above the tyranny's of the urgent issues earth gives me experientially. For when I do the foolish things according to the world, God's glory is seen. I become His witness to love beyond ourselves and yet within myself really seen lived out. .....Wait what? I am in the wrong thread - ok, let me put it this way then, I hate not being used by God to show His glory and do His will. If this sounds foolish to anyone reading this, I will pray you too will come to such passion and abandon in Christ. Oh. Lord, may You be adorned by all that I do and say!

I don't like when clerks at the grocery store try getting too friendly.

"Hi did you find everything alright?" - that's fine. If they start trying to talk to me and asking me about my day or what I'm making for dinner...that's crossing a boundary that I'm just not comfortable crossing with a stranger.

I hate it when someone is in the wrong, then acts like they are the victim and the other person is the bad guy. :rolleyes:

Example: The other day, I parked in front of a medical building to deliver the mail. Nobody was parked next to me on either side and I was perfectly lined up between the lines. By the time I came back out of the building to get in my mail truck, some knuckle head had parked right next to me really close and his rather robust wife had a very difficult time getting out of their vehicle. As I slowly backed out, being careful not to clip the knuckle head's vehicle because he parked so close to me, I noticed he was watching me back out with a dirty look on his face and as I began to drive away, he cussed at me like it was my fault. :mad:

I have found just the opposite, at least down here, most of the 'baggers' can't wait to get outside
and inhale some 'fresh-air', not to mention being able to MOVE out of such a small confining space,
not to mention 'dealing' with some customers that aren't to nice...and, not to mention, maybe grabbing
a quick smoke - we are always being asked if we would like them to push our cart out to our car, and
I know for sure that it's not just because they think that we are 'oldethennew ...:eek::)

by the way, we NEVER leave a cart where it could damage another car...

I don't mean the clerks getting outside, exactly. Although I have seen some rather exasperated ones where I live. It may be because it is so hot, and people tend to drive like gangbusters in the parking lots. I can see wanting to take a break from the store, but it seems by their body language that they dislike trudging all over the place gathering carts.

I must have passed that test because I did not cuss back at him and kept on driving, even though I was pretty ticked off! ;)

...assuming most of the clerks at the grocery stores are Christians. Highly unlikely. At least, not in this secular little white trash town I live in.

we've actually witnessed many, many, times where the 'baggers' are disappointed
that we have rejected their offer to take our cart to our car - but, hub and me, we try
and get all of the exercise that we can at our age, without to much stress, and often 'park'
really far away in the parking-lot in order to speed walk back to our van...:rolleyes:
