A friend of mine has had a problem with bloating after eating. It is not always because of the same food, so it was impossible for him to truly control He suffered with this for many years. Whie visiting he had one of his atttacks.

I suiggested he eat some peanuts...no, I have no idea why I suggested this. Withing a few minutes the bloating disappeareedd along with the pain that accompanies it.

This was a few months ago, and the reports since are 100% success with the peanut therapy. Not by the handfull, a nbble at a time....... Stop when it stops.

Perhaps this will helps someone.. God bless all with good health.

Alas, without a gall bladder anymore, it is the peanuts that cause the bloating, (and gas. Although, of course, ladies don't get gas. And, if we do, it never stinks. and if it does, RUN! BUT we never do. :))

Again, if I must be flunt, it is not helpful for the farts, it is for trapped, painful gas. It seems to work for ONE individual...it is meant to be a suggestion for anyone who may have the identical condition......not for the winds.

I'm thinking the two things are connected. Gall bladders release bile, which emulsifies fat in the stomach as needed. Something notifies the gall bladder that what was just eaten was fatty, so release the bile. (I find that so cool, how God did that for us.) Peanuts tend to be fatty, so if the stomach and intestines are already working on the gas that happens from eating fiber, then the bile double times the effort to digest it. (Like adding vinegar to baking soda, and then adding more vinegar.)

I really do see it could work for most people -- just not those of us minus a gall bladder.
