Hi all
I often think that if I had a chance to go back in time to change certain areas of my life,I would change so many things?
For example I would definatley never start eating so many sweets as kid, coz now I have a bit of a Sugar addiction.I just love sweet tasting things..it's crazy..I guess there are loads..I would certainly have made many different decisions ie friend choices..certain cars (that were just a waste of money)..loads of things I guess!!

So what Would you have changed in your past if you were given the chance??

yes that's right..the only thing I think about after posting this thread is that certain circumstances lead us to Christ..so if by changing certain life decisions would that have affected the elements in our lives that God used to lead us to the knowledge of his son Jesus?
yet a part of me doesn't think it works as god is bigger than life itself and he would have know the changes we would we would of made and it would all still lead us to Christ anyway

this may be a non-answer, but I would say nothing. For better or worse everything in my past, the good and the bad, has led me to where I am today, and who I am today, and I wouldn't change that for anything. God's ways are above my ways, though I may not understand why everything happened the way they did, I know it was His will, and I find comfort in that :)

Zi, honey -- I do understand perfectly why you used the word 'canvas' to make your point here. There is probably no better word to describe exactly and explicitly what you are intending to get across. However, let me suggest that - as a way of improving upon the perspective of the idea ( and, I really hope you understand properly what I am getting at here ) -- instead of calling your skin a 'canvas' ( especially, along with the word 'blank' - which makes implication to the still-present 'invitation' to "paint" something on it ) -- why not use a phrase like "natural landscape" - which embodies the God-given beauty that cannot be improved by adding man-made [ so-called ] "art" to it...

:D ;)

I "applaud" you...

It is never too late to wake up and realize what you apparently have. If there is anything you can do to warn others ( children, especially ) - by your own knowledge and experience - then, by all means, let it be a testimony to others...

I don't care what anyone says -- the whole tattoo-and-body-piercing-thing is nothing but a satanic "intent, means, and method" of trying to move people ( and, society as a whole ) closer-and-closer to the acceptance of a 'borg' mentality - and, if possible, deeper into the occult...

There are several things I would change about my past if I could. At the very top of the list -- avoid DeMolay and Freemasonry "like the plague" - instead of embracing it as though it were the "good thing" I was led to believe that it was - by very well-meaning family and friends who had been fooled into believing it before me.

It is THE worst mistake I ever made in my entire life --- and, there can be no question or doubt about it...

It is the one thing in my life that I so deeply regret the most. :(:(:(

If you are a born-again Christian, and you in any way associate yourself with Freemasonry or any of its 'satellite' organizations ( Eastern Star, etc. ) -- you have made a terrible mistake! And, you need to get away from it - all of it - now!

And then - "don't look back" - rather, look to God / Jesus only.

Read the book MASONRY Beyond The Light by William Schnoebelen.
