I have noticed that I learn better when there's a picture involved. I guess I'm a visual learner. So I thought we'd have a thread where we can post illustrations about important subjects. They could be Biblical or they could be academic or whatever you want. It's purely up to you.

For example, I was reading about the Armor of God. It didn't make total sense until I saw a figure of it online. Sometimes seeing images can make the whole subject concrete in your mind.

You know; That illustration can still make it confusing, even though at the same it doesn't. ;)
I heard it explained well by a pastor once...

He said if I have in my hand a ball of clay, then I take a piece of that clay and make another ball out of it... the new ball that I made is of the exact same substance as the clay from which it came... The two balls are identical but they are separate from each other...That is how Jesus and God are the same, but also separate. (Jesus was begotten from the Father)

Nice explanation. I am not too sure of how I should think about the sarcastic smiley put up there.

True, true... Not all smileys look as they are described as. I just read what it is supposed being, so why I wondered. The last smiley could also look just very suprised. ;) But no worries, do get it now. :)
