The conversations in on this chat site after 11:00 PM Pacific Standard Time seem to take a turn for the worst. People tend to say things when the mind is on the verge of unconsciousness that they might not say when they might not say on a normal basis. I have noticed there is not usually a mod in the room to monitor the dialogue between Christians and non-Christians. I don't believe there is too much danger that goes on, but I do know that it can sometimes be unedifying to listen to, even discouraging toward the faith. I would suggest for those who are late night communicators to mindful of such conversations and use methods of disapproval to give correction where correction is due. Jokes, I have been told by a person I know, can be sometimes half serious. James 1:16 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Proverbs 17:9 Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.
