welp... a few days back me and my brother fed a stray cat next to my gate


and today i found a dead disfigured mouse exactly where we left the turkey for the cat....

Personally, I'm guessing that the cat is just leaving you and your bro a subtle message: "Keep feeding me... OR YOU TWO ARE NEXT."

if i see him around again i will continue to feed him and fill the tray of water ... at first i was grossed out

then it clicked....

and i almost felt bad i wasnt there to show him i appreciate his efforts

Yeah, that mouse was really a meal he sacrificed to provide you with something else to eat.

The REAL appreciation comes when you take a few nibbles of the mouse right in front of him to show your approval.

After all, there's no stronger bonding between two living creatures than breaking bread together (or in this case, bones.)

That is cat gifting. She offered you a present because she thinks you are more alpha than she is. (Either that or the mouse was foolish enough to wander by when she was eating.)
