Has anyone here had to relocate for a job within two weeks time? I just landed a really great job recently, with great pay and benefits. The only problem: I have relocate for this position in about 10 days. Is this something that is possible? Constructive advice would be greatly appreciated.

Look for a home that rents rooms with use of the common areas. Something like this would be easy to set up immediately and give you time to find a suitable apartment of buy a house. Should be relatively inexpensive too compared to the cost of monthly rent in an apartment. I'm assuming that you will be making the move alone initially.

That depends on a few things, how far are you moving? How are you traveling there? Ect.. Ect.....

Could you put some stuff in a storage unit and move it later?

I'll be moving about 600 miles away. I would be traveling by car and I would be able to store my belongings until I find a more permanent place. And my salary would more than allow me to cover rent and bills.
