Hey there, people.

Since I have shared some of my MASTERPIECES on this site:

...I felt rather curious about how well (or...not) the rest of you guys can draw. So yeah, feel free to draw anything you like and share it here! It could be an animal, your impression of someone on CC, an abstract drawing, your nightstand, just anything, really. :/

I used to be a pretty fair artist, but this forum will not allow me to post pictures from my hard drive.

May I critique your drawings?

(It will be done in the full spirit of your post -- with humor.)

You can always upload them to an image host :)

For those unable to post directly from your computer, you can select an image from your computer and upload it to an image hosting site, and then get the direct link for that image, and use the url to post it to the boards here, using the "Insert Image" icon above the text box (third from the right; make sure to uncheck the Retrieve remote file and reference locally, from the "From URL" tab of the app that opens to insert images) :)

https://postimages.org/

^^ There is a link to a free image hosting site. If you keep the image url as a document file somewhere on your computer, you can use it again and again :D Or, if you know where to find it on one of CC forum pages once you have posted it here at least once, you can always open it from that page and use the CC url to post your image again... maybe save it as a favorite (Bookmark) in your browser to find easily :)

It is always a good idea to preview your message to see how big the image is going to look. If you think it is too large or needs some adjustments, there are free online image editing programs that are fairly easy and fun to use :) I
f you make a boo boo it is very easy to fix. The free editors are a lot less complicated than photoshop, but still allow you to do an amazing array of edits. The one I use is https://pixlr.com/editor/

Then you just re-save the image back to your computer, and uplaod to the host site, get the direct link, and post it on the board as per above instructions. Give the edited image a new name so you do not overwrite the original image. I usually just add on to the end of the original image name; then all similar images show up alphabetically in whichever folder I have them in.

You can also choose to have the image re-sized when you upload it to the image host :)

I hope that helps :)

My Critique
By Lynn

I see three stories playing out on this masterpiece.

1. The dragon/dinosaur should be more afraid of the cat than the cat afraid. It's a cat. Nuff said?

2. Very interpretative. I'm not sure if the bird just attacked the rabbit, (or is that Pokemon?) Or if the bird has just attacked and is now laughing. Or if the two of them are walking together. One thing for sure, I like the interpretative nature of it.

3. Seems very sad. The horse seems puzzled by the school bus. For hundreds of years, the horse took kids to school. Now they prefer that contraption? No wonder school kids don't like school anymore. In the olden days going there by horse and then returning home was half the fun of school. (The other half of the fun was lunch and recess, of course. lol)

How'd I do?

I'm still stuck in the 20th century, so haven't figure out how to scan what has been drawn. But I liked one of John's drawings enough to take a picture of it.

This was inspired by our many fishing trips.

After trying to draw an elephant that got mistaken for a puppy and a flower (How does an elephant's behind transfer to a flower is beyond me), I think I leave the drawing alone. I am impressed by the ones that can and have the guts to post it, though. I shouldn't be surprised that YIG has a hidden talent for drawing as well. That guy seems to be brilliant at everything. (Except for living?)

I used to like to draw. The only stuff I have kept is stuff that would be considered too "new age" for the CC crowd.

The expression on that cats face is like "Life hurts", and the t rex is looking at it like "whats up with those legs?"

Can I add a Terrible drawing I just did on my iPad. :)

See if you can guess what it is suppose to be, I have to warn you it's
very abstract!

Try squinting you might get it (and that's a clue!)
