I have had dreams about trying to steal food. Once it was cheese, another time a candy bar. I don't even eat candy bars that much. When I had the dream about the candy bar, in the dream I felt guilty and I tried to pay it back. I don't remember the rest. Interesting thing is, I have yet to have a dream about me stealing money, though I did have a dream about someone else trying to steal money. I also had a wonderful dream a while ago where there were two magnificent boats. There was water on the ground and there was a sparking sunlight about it. It was just an image, nothing else. I wrote it down and had I not done that, I might have forgot it. How about you? What are some of the strange or wonderful dreams you have had?

Most of mine I can't remember except for certain ones, I remember a while back one I found very odd was I was dreaming there were 12 dark figures that you could only make out were human shaped standing around a circle table drinking wine they thought they were hidden and I could see them but then one of them suddenly looked at me with this bizarre blood lust looking eyes and sheer hatred and anger that I had seen them and that was the dream.

So... ya pretty weird lol

For the most part dreams are just dreams they can be easily influenced by our every day thoughts or the music we listen to or the movies we watch or the food we eat or certain medication the ways our dreams can be altered of affected are to many to count.

I had a dream that i was crossing a long narrow bridge, and when i finally made it to the end i ended up in a church and i was still walking forward but this time i was on a long red strip of carpet that led to Christ, and i could see Him standing there in the middle of the doorway that was made out of vines. There were also people singing but it wasn't just a choir it was various other types of music/ instruments , some that i have never even heard of..(some of those voices singing were too good even for the best by human standards, they sounded more angelic if i could even call it that).. I forgot how the song went but it was so powerful it brought tears to my eyes, and that's saying a lot because it takes something really powerful to move me like that.

It's odd how we have dreams about the strangest things, but they make sense at the time (during the dream).

I generally don't remember my dreams the next morning. But if I have a dream and wake up in the night I usually do remember it for a little while until I go back to sleep. Last winter I undertook a project to keep a journal of my dreams. I kept a small journal on my nightstand. Every time I had a dream and would wake up, I'd write it down right away before I forgot it. I was surprised at how many dreams I have. Sometimes three dreams per night. I filled up 100+ pages in just a few weeks. It was a fun project, and it's interesting to go back and read about my dreams (interesting to me anyway). :)

don't ever hold on to dreams unless you know for sure that The HS wants you to remember...
our minds don't just flip a switch and go blank when we sleep, also, when one has received
The HS, we know that this Power never sleeps or leaves us, but is always communicating
with us in some way...

I think this might be a disadvantage to being older and disabled. (Disabled just means I don't get out much.)

But I only remember one reoccurring dream for the last few years. (I've had others, but this is the dream I tend to remember waking up from the most lately.) I'm in "our house," but it's never really our house. It's often a variation of different houses we've lived in over the years, but it keeps growing and warping. Anyway, the gist is I have to go to the bathroom, but I get lost (because it keeps changing around and warping, even in the dream.) I do find toilets, on occasion, but they're either in a very public place with people passing by often, or they're so dirty, I wouldn't even put what I sweep up near that toilet. Disgusting! So I keep looking and looking, until I realize I'll never find a good toilet.

Then I wake up, because I have to go to the bathroom.

I sometimes am very grateful I can't find a good toilet in my dreams, because then what would happen?

Discernment is absolutely vital with Dreams, I mean a person can have eaten some rotten meant and get this weird dream of him vomiting and then he wakes up throwing up and he can interpret the dream to mean that God wanted him to purge his iniquities and him throwing up upon waking up meant he has purged himself and is clean when really the dream was influenced by some rotten meat and the body was trying to tell him to be prepared ima go all out.

In fact just the night before last night I had a dream that I had to pee soooo bad and in the dream I was able to release and it was heaven but in that instant I woke up and was like crap ima bout to goooooooo and ran to the toilet. Whew..... it was a relief I would be so ashamed if well you know...

That dream was my body reacting and telling me what needs to be done not a dream from God

Word of advice Lynn, no liquids an hour before bed though in my experience sometimes that doesn't even do any good lol

I have dreams all the time of being in my house but its not my real house. But in my dream it is. Often there is different furniture and often I am moving furniture around because something is very unfunctional.

it sounds like you are definitely on a spiritual-journey:eek:seeing more and more as Jesus leads you away
from this evil place, and on into the knowledge of His Holy place...this is a journey for all of us who
are called and for those yet to be called, because of His Love for us - this concept of our Creator
desiring to build a Unified Body of Love with the likes of us, is darn 'over-whelming' and so much more!!!:) ..................................

in our lives, hub and me, Jesus has often' allowed us to eat the 'rotten meat' that we desired...
and yes, it was part of our 'purging'...we aren't 'stupid' about many things as we once were,
and yes, we are always, each and every day, learning His Ways with our whole hearts...

The problem with being an insomniac, I'm never guaranteed when "an hour before bed" happens. lol

Hubby had a nightmare this morning. One of those that when you tell about it, it's almost too funny to be considered a nightmare.

He dreamed we were at a restaurant having breakfast with a lot of local people, including a news guy he dislikes. He's telling us something, and we're all arguing with him. We're all hyping the liberal agenda.

What was the nightmare? I was one of the people disagreeing with him. lol

we gave-up the 'bacon' years ago'...and yes, we really do like a lot of the Morning Star products,
very tasty and healthy - Publix periodically has BOGO on them, good time to stock-up...

Had to give up on bacon years ago for two different reasons -- he can't do salt, and I can't do grease. Ends up salt and grease are what makes bacon so yummy, so no matter what it's made from those two ingredients remain. Still can't do it.

I'm all for people eating as much bacon as they can when they're young, because who knows when they get older. lol
