This evening i have been giving thanks for God's protection...in treacherous conditions and on a fast road i had a very near miss this evening. Maybe i should have been driving slower due to the heavy rain and surface water but it was due to another driver overtaking and pulling in too close to me. I always pray for protection each day - today i needed it and God provided.

Maybe we should have a "give thanks" forum. We really should be praising God instead of arguing amongst ourselves right?

I thought of you this morning as I was getting in my car to go to work... or maybe it was last night as I was getting out of my car after coming home from work (age does that to a person ) but the thing is, I saw a car with MWP on the plate, and it always makes me think of you... our former MPW :) People sometimes drive predictably crazy in inclement weather; I am glad you are okay. I have had many close calls also, but am very alert when it comes to other drivers, knowing how bad it is, and have avoided many accidents by anticipating what people are going to do, or responding appropriately when they make some dangerous move. Stats say that distracted drivers now kill more people than drunk drivers. That is very serious. I may have to stop driving in the center lane because of that :(

Thanks Magenta. He/She pulled in that close to me that a wave of water hit my windshield which blocked all vision forcing me to brake hard and in turn forcing the car behind me to brake. It was hairy!

Thanks for remembering me. :)
