I haven't played video games in a long time. But I used to love some Mortal Kombat. My favorite characters were Scorpion, Sub Zero, and Cyrax. The last time I played was on a PlayStation 2, and I have an old Nintendo 64 with the Moral Kombat Sub Zero game on somewhere in my closet, can't remember the name of the game off hand. The Nintendo still works, I might just dig it out of my closet and play it now.

Man, the first movie was a trip though. The storyline was good for a game-based movie, but even Raiden had to apologize for it.

I don't play it too often anymore only around one of my cousins,of course though since I've played nearly every single mortal kombat I still know the fatalities and what characters are most effective for defeating the final bosses like shao kawn, even mk vs dc universe wasn't half bad, though mk deception is still probably my favorite, why? because under a few user names I held my own in online play,my specialty character being particularly kenshi they called me mr grabby because I would teleport and grab and use his telekinesis effectively together to defeat some rookies fast because I could levitate attack, levitate attack then grab, plus it's the only game where you can keep from your opponent doing their fatality on you by way of performing your harakiri, which was actually fun in a way, sometimes I would lose to rookies on purpose for them to learn some moves and try out my harakiris, good ol memories, but considering that such games are gruesome and quite opposite of God I tend to steer clear of them, like right now I don't even have a mortal kombat game, demon slaying games on the other hand I play still because they aren't as graphic and it's usually someone using evil to destroy evil so it's quite ironic and humorous in that way, some games though I'm still trying to forget because they were a little over the top on creepiness like resident evil and extermination even zelda still gives me the creeps somewhat lol!

I've never been a fan of the Mortal Kombat franchise. The moves are so ridiculously complicated it makes me not interested in playing

Aw, I actually liked the movie : p

And yeah I liked the franchise growing up. I had two brothers who were big into games so I definitely experienced it : p

My favorite character was actually Shang Tsung. My little brother and I had a tradition growing up with fighting games and the like. He always favorite the hero character, and I always favored the villain : p

He was a neat character, though. Not that I was good at memorizing every shape shift, haha. I had a few, though!

I found nearly every shape shift of his,I even found both his fatalities and to boot I even accomplished turning into characters that could turn invisible and turned invisible to do their fatalities in the short window of time as which ever character such as human smoke.

If it were REAL it would be mortal... and it wouldn't be nearly as popular. It's only popular when it's make-believe. ;)

Sub Zero was a pain to fight against. He was awesome to fight with though.
