Proverbs 4:23-26 AMPC
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. [24] Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you. [25] Let your eyes look right on with fixed purpose, and let your gaze be straight before you. [26] Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright.

I've decided to spend less time in the chatroom and focus on forums and writing. God showed me the importance of guarding my heart and he taught me discipline through experiencing a lot of uncomfortable convos in chat. I realise on this site that a lot of people come on here with mental illness and unsound minds, wise people don't habitually come on here every day. When God opened my eyes to not exposing my heart to so many words heard over mic and typed out I felt a weight lifted from my heart and mind. I heard a lot of idle talk and double mindedness and I was also engaged in it as well. The Lord impressed it on me that the thief and enemy of my soul was stealing away precious time and energy I could be spending with the life giver of my Spirit. I also deleted my FB acct I can hear God whispering Kisha you have chosen the greater part. I am your portion in the land of the living.

Kisha - Hello! Thank You for expressing your testimony on how God is leading you by way of the Holy Spirit to make right your relationship with God in all areas of your life. Your faithful obedience will only draw you closer to Jesus and your Father. It is always a good reminder to guard our hearts from drifting, but it is also a good recollection to note that anything doctrinally is no substitute for the power coming from a pure relationship with God. In other words, there is also always the danger of becoming a dogmatic adherent to what God has said instead of adhering to God who said it. I can Amen you because my spirit discerns the reality of this journey for you in light of the relationship with God you are exercising in faith. May God richly bless the truth of your walk with Him and may God richly Bless you accordingly, as you proceed in obeying Him. I see Spiritual intuitiveness was where you gained your revelation and eventual empowerment, and we all can learn and be uplifted by this story as to how righteousness works where the rubber meets the road! ....Thank you!

Indeed, it is not just that I am encouraged by His Word, but I am empowered - even to becoming a loved one who desires to serve His will more so than serving self-awareness in the slightest.

[h=1](John 4:32-34): ...The Voice (VOICE)[/h]Jesus: 32 I have food to eat that you know nothing about.

Disciples (to one another): 33 Is it possible someone else has brought Him food while we were away?

Jesus: 34 I receive My nourishment by serving the will of the Father who sent Me and completing His work.

As He loves me so I can love Him, and as I do love Him faithfully, I do His will and live dead to the right to myself and enlivened in His life He bears witness to in my life lived on earth. Jesus is the river of life that flows out of me then, and people see someone in me who I cannot take credit for, and His glory is seen and felt by all around me, to the praise of the Son and Father!

I would've found the OPs post a positive one if it weren't for leveling people as mentally ill and unwise. Such blanket statements are never accurate, nor beneficial. Seems to speak more of your attitude towards others rather than a reflection on others. Sad that an otherwise good post gets ruined by such statements.

Who asked you and that name fits your attitude. In my experience the convos are unsound because people profess that they have unreconciled issues offline. And my spirit gets unsettled engaging in convo that go back and forth with no resolution. So I'll say this with all the love in my heart deuces. Even Stevie Wonder can see that the being in a chat room all day cannot replace the reality of face to face convo.

This was my thought also. I believe that there are a lot of wise members here who come for fellowship and try to make a positive difference in the lives of others by how they conduct themselves. I really don't believe that there are many members here that are mentally ill, but even so, hopefully, for the few that may be here, they may receive a blessing from God from those that make an attempt to connect with them and try to offer wise spiritual counsel and support. There is nothing that is the least disparaging about a person suffering from the disease of mental illness.

Who said there was many members here I said in chat there look at the post that's Why I choose to stay in forums chat is an open traffic for different people to come online and express their frustration over mic.

I find that the forums are a better venue also to really get to know people, who they are and what they are about. I rarely frequent the chat rooms as it is mostly a lot of meaningless babble.

Brother I've been edified more through forums and made realistic fellowship as well. I love Cc just not the chat room my pm box was always messaged and there is no feature to block people on the phone app.

This site has been a tremendous blessing to me as well. In fact, I met my wife on this site who is also a member. There is nothing wrong with guarding your heart. May God bless you and allow you to prosper in all areas of your life. :)

Saying "this site" includes the entire site, forums and chat. So, you said it.

sometimes when we hear 'reality spoken', we don't like it or accept it, and this is something
that is a 'test' for us, and a reason for introspection about our beliefs and reasoning, etc...
