I remember the Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow games. Sometimes I would watch the TV show too back in the day. Never collected any cards.

Overall, I would say I was never a big Pokemon fanatic. It was alright when it was still new and fresh. Now it's old and tired in my opinion.

I liked the shows,I don't have cable right now so I can't see how the story line is now,but games like pokemon stadium, and pokemon stadium 2 I thought to be really well thought out, because not only could you battle but you could play funny mini games too if you started getting bored or frustrated with battling, some of my favorite pokemons were and still are,Ghastly,Gengar,Jiggly puff, pikachu, nearly any pokemon with freeze beam(so much fun freezing other pokemon)poliwrath(double punch/slap was awesomely effective for me) Mewtwo(never unlocked him but still cool to fight him!)Charizard, pokemon with instant ko moves like horn drill and guillotine, and any pokemon with confuse ray(comically funny, pokemon attacking theirselves),any pokemon with phychic(because half the time it takes down every pokemon fast!)pokemon with double team or minimize(comical again pokemon missing your pokemon),Snorlax,(funny again because all he has to do is sleep to heal himself, and then is ready to fight again, his hp being alot helps too!)

I bet you made this thread with...a certain someone in mind. Lol.

I am now anxiously waiting for the new Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon to be released, but in the meantime, I'm just totally breaking Pokemon Blue with glitches on my emulator...that's just my idea of fun, okay?! :p

I know Pokemon is a "thing". That's about the extent of it.

Same here.

Honestly, I thought it was some kind of Jamaican acupuncture.

I am unapologetically out of touch with most things. My likes and interests in this world are very myopic, so most things just don't make it to my radar screen.

I love glitches, finding them or debunking them for example I played final fantasy 8 about 7 times to see if according to a rumor that I could get cloud as a summon from Final fantasy 7,found many in pokemon, loads of fun that way!

Yep just like with any cartoon show or cartoon game,if it's cool there is bound to be someone who likes it,even adults,my younger brother is pokemon crazed more than me,but I still like pokemon because it requires strategy which I like and it has fun and cute and funny stuff with it too which I like,I played pokemon stadium countless times and it still would be fun to play again, and even the show I don't get bored with though I don't get too in to it,I still find it funny team rocket being defeated and knocked into the air, disappearing out of sight, and the movies are pretty awesome too, perhaps my favorite movie being, pokemon 3 with the unknown, unknown, making an appearance as well as Entei, and for a change team rocket actually helping ash and friends instead of fighting them,I still remember even playing the card game of pokemon, while different in style it was still interesting, any cartoon or game you can get hooked on,a certain someone has been kind of inspiring me to want to play pokemon again, and I gotta say it does sound interesting, though I've never been a fan of small screen games much,I might just look into playing again.

I'm currently replaying Pokemon Emerald. ❤

The battery died on my cartridge a few years ago so I'm using a flash cart now.

There's a patch for the game to set the clock when it first starts.

There's also another patch so you can change the time at Pokemon Centers as well.

I love this game and how you can meet new and interesting animals, from all over the world, and then set them on fire.

Also...I know that it's weird that I talk this much about Pokemon on this site and yet, even after 9 months of my nonsense so far, I still haven't provided an answer to a VERY obvious question:

Sonia, what is your favorite Pokemon?!?!?!

Well...it's probably not what you may think it is, and it's a VERY uncommon and unconventional pick, so...

Here it is!!!

That's a Porygon-Z you're looking at. I meant it when I said that this is an unconventional pick.

Now, why do I like this decapitated floating duck thing so much? Well...

- It's CUTE. ...To me, anyway...my friend thinks it belongs in a crazy asylum. :/ But just look at it!!! So cute...
- Despite its looks, the damage it causes in battle is stupidly strong. I was able to wipe out a few certain Elite Four members with just this little freak.
- Its unique move, Conversion, is pretty good.
- It made its debut in the same generation in which I first started playing Pokemon. That makes me like it even more.

However, to get even one of these things is one of the hardest and most grueling ordeals you could ever possibly go through in a Pokemon Game...and I'll just leave it at that. :/
